Well that's a strange choice, the best way to keep Riise quiet would be to put an attacking player against him so he can't risk leaving his position. With Gattuso there he can go forward without too many worries about the gap he leaves.

It'll be interesting to see what benitez does. Im sure he was making plans for the second half, but thats all changed now that milan has scored. I think benitez will see how things go for a bit and if he feels that his team have the momentun, then he wont make any changes, but if they're struggling, I think we might see either kewell, bellamy or crouch. I think crouch would be the best option, just so that they have more of an aerial threat, but bellamy's pace could be a bigger threat because apart from oddo, the milan defence dont have anyone else that is very quick.

Much as I hate the current situation in this game, it's really the beauty of football. It's the reason I love the game, it's SO low scoring compared to most sports that you can't just know who's going to win before a game or even during it, anything can happen.

Of course, it means you have to take the nightmares along with the dreams.

Then, around the 60 minute mark, if it's still 1-0 probably Crouch for Alonso, Gerrard going back into midfield.
