Good fights FloEvans, I got so lucky on the first fight. I got knocked down 3 rounds in a row. I was ready to go down for the 4th and probably final time until I parried his punch and came back with a haymaker and some uppercuts to take him down and out. Can't believe 1 knock down is all it took.

Me and Kinesis had a war, but I pulled it out in the end with a knockdown to the back of the head, a la Mayweather - Judah (too bad they didn't program a mini riot in there)

Challenge others, win to move up in ranks.
#1 contender gets a manditory title fight (If champ ducks #1 contender for more than week he loses belt).
Staying idle drops your ranking.
And how about only ranks 1-5 can fight for title if ranks above them refuse title fight and Champ agrees to it.
Holding the belt makes you immune to bans on gaf.
I receive 30% of PPV orders.
Sound good? Not sure what else should be added.

Except for signature punch...I don't think you can execute them with the analog stick.
 
Sure juan I can't wait to add a win to Lamotta's Column Then I will move up the ranks further. Whats with these cowards commiting to a league and not wanting to box?

Damnit Kingpen, you beat me down again I was about to call you my arch rival but that would mean that I've had atleast some success against you. You just own me :( the accidental low blow to finish me off confirms it. Congrats thanks for the pity rematch too. Now if we ever have a Table Tennis league your are so dead!!

Alrighty, I sent everyone friend requests except for arne cause his list is full. I'm available to fight most nights around 9:30 CDT till whenever.
 
Good fights Ianswoody, I know you joined late and didn't have any choice of boxers, so I'll trade you De La Hoya for Robinson if you can't get used to Robinsons' style.

I'm going on my honeymoon for the next 3 weeks, so I won't be around to box...

If you guys want it, I'll relinquish my belt so you guys can box over it while I am gone.

Only stipulation is that I get a rematch for the title when I get back!

It's not too late really, we have 3 people whom haven't fought at all in after 3 weeks. So after this weekend I'll put whom ever hasn't fought yet on the IR. Let's go gaffers!
DCX, maybe you can take out Kingpen when he gets back from vacation. I'll train you, his kung fu is strong :) but I know all his tricks.

Try challenging someone else in the league. You vs DCX sounds like a good matchup, do it do it.

Good fight indeed, that was like my second and third fight online ever...you have some wicked combos i just couldn't stop the flurries at first...i have no idea how i was able to withstand the attack and find a way to come back...you really did dominate both fights. Oh well, 1-0 for me :D

You better stay in Maui cuz I got a something in store for you when you get back. De La Hoya is old and busted Jermain Taylor is the new hotness.
 
I didn't read the GAF post before i fought you...i had no idea...again it's up to you if you want to count it, and yeah i would have to fight you differently when using Taylor :P Every fighter is really different.

Sadly the time has come that I am going to be pulling a Lennox Lewis and hanging up my gloves until the next version of Fight Night comes out. Retiring at 7-0.

Had a couple of fights with DCX... You gave me the craziest round I have had in the game. Knockdown by me, Stun punch into a knockdown for you 5 seconds later, then a first person flash punch that I survived, and then a flurry of punches by me to get the 2nd knockdown in the round. Good Fights!

So I shall be relinquishing my title and bowing out. I definetely will be on board when the next version of fight night comes out (it seems to come out every year nowadays). You can blame LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 2 for forcing my hand. That game is so addictive and incredible that I don't think I am going to be playing a whole lot else until the fall hits. And then when the fall hits, there will be so much to play. So I am trying to trim the collection now and get some trade credit going on a few titles later this fall.


It has been a blast playing with some of you semi-regularly.... Juan, Kinesis, DCX and Flow included.... We had a lot more fights then the official records indicate. Hope to see some of you guys on some other games this fall and on Fight Night 4.

Excellent fights Kingpen...that round was crazy! You are a great fighter man, i couldn't stop the body shots...i have a hard time blocking'parrying those...i found your style after a round or two but i just couldn't do anything with the body shots...sorry to hear you not going to play Fight Night anymore...it was a blast playing with you, enjoy Battle for Middle Earth II.

Thanks... You and Juan should duke it out for the title... The body is what I have learned is the key to the game for me

I got my money's worth out of Fight Night this year. I gotta go get a new controller because I played it so much. I still think it is one of the best reasons to have a 360.

I will be back for vengence next year though.

Yeah it was fun Kingpen congrats on your domination of FN3 Tourney and League. I might pick up LOTR2 so maybe I'll join you for some matches. Also props on your dedication to the league and tourney.

Hiyami is your next opponent. But I think the League is dead unfortunately....
 
I actually decided to trade some dust collecting PSP games instead of fight night in, so I hung on to it. I couldn't convince myself to trade it and table tennis in just to full fill the bonus money at gamestop for 2 360 titles for a new one. I also knew I would be craving fight night again in probably November december when details about the next one came out so I kept it to relive the glory then. I have had so much fun with this game and I figure the next one isn't coming out for at least 9-10 months at the earliest for 360.


Basically what I am saying is that if any of you want a fight, let me know in this thread or if you see me online.... The league was fun, we should do it again next year.

DCX and Juan, you should hit me up for some fights if you want...
 
I made a pretty good look alike for Mike Tyson...

Anyone game for a match? His stats aren't maxed out, only to about 90%ish....
 
I would tonight for sure (as my love for this game got renewed with a new controller and this Tyson CAB), but my work bought all of us tickets to a baseball game tonight, so we are heading out for that..

How about tomorrow night....

By the way, I'm not trading in Fight Night at all until the next sequel drops on the same day... so I am down to box whenever...


Here is the formula I found online for this Tyson... Pretty good if I say so myself.
