I'm hardly blaming the refs, considering they failed to alter the result of the game, but some of those calls were just godawful. I don't understand what Stern is hoping to achieve by having this bullshit to showcase the league. It's one thing to want to have a superstar, but seeing Wade at the line isn't exactly exciting basketball. The league should be hyping the Mavs and Suns, that's something to showcase. Last year it was 1-3 assigned to division winners and 4-8 in order of victories. That meant a really weak Nuggets team was at 3 and a very good Mavs team was at 4. The Clippers coincidentally / intentionally lost a game to the Grizzlies so that they fell to the 6 while the Grizz moved up to the 5. Grizz got swept and the Clippers won their series.

As a Heat fan, I'm glad Wade didn't get to the line in OT. Getting to the line has its advantage sometimes but if his whole career plays out by him constantly looking for the foul, that's pretty annoying. He can do better than that, he's much better than that.
Lakers deserved to win definitely, especially when Jason Williams is a lead donator...

I have never seen Kobe move this slow before. He seems to have lost all of his explosion. The positive of that is he is getting the entire team involved on a nightly basis now and his shot selection has been much better.
And speaking of Frankenstern, I want to know what he is blackmailing Stern with to get such preferable treatment at the line.

It always strikes me as funny that Laker fans are the most up in arms about the Heat getting calls.
As I recall, the Lakers got a shit-ton of calls during their championship runs not all that long ago. Didn't hear any complaints from them then.
