mavs are not as good as they were last year. they were a lot more aggressive last year. this year is just smoke and mirrors like the pistons last year. mavs will not advance far in the playoffs if they keep jump shooting like they are this year.

except, they only seem to attack the basket against the spurs
 
For some reason, I trust the Mavs more on D this year and that's what I think will push us through. We'll see how that holds up in the 2nd half of the season though...
 
Good game by the Blazers. Actually, GREAT GAME by Brandon Roy. 10-15 shooting for 28 points, it's nice to see him take the game into his hands. Still, I want Nate to stop being an idiot and let Pryzbilla play! Sent Magloire out for some donuts and never let him back in. The Blazers seem to be doing fine with their offense, but their inside D is horrendous. I can't wait for Magloire to be traded away.

P.S. Charley Rosen is an idiot.
 
The Magic are maddeningly inconsistent.. how the **** do you win 5 in a row and then lose 5? We could easily lose the next few too... UGH!

Wow, already a year? I was at the gym at the start of the second half and ended up spending all of it on an exercise bike so that I wouldn't miss anything. :lol

40-12 against a Heat team that isn't playing Shaq or Wade....

Move the Knicks to the WNBA so they can be semi-competitive.
 
Knicks are just lulling Miami into a false sense of security. Knicks always come back. When they're down 10 at the half they'll have them right where they want Miami.

It wasn't 27-0? It was 23-3 at one point...I think Lakers started out 23-0 once vs. Kings, back in Showtime days.

Somehow, I halfway agree with you. God damn, if this Miami crew can score 20 something straight on the Knicks, the Knicks might be capable of doing the same.

ONLY if they started making every three they jack up

First you call me a bandwagon Heat fan then you call the refs biased in a Knicks game. Can I take you seriously!?
 
The refs are just trying to give the Knicks a fighting chance. Even with (a metaphorical) hand tied behind his back St. Jason could slaughter them!

In all fairness he probably missed the whole Knicks-Bulls rivalry of the early-mid 90s. Y'know, where Stern just couldn't have his meal ticket bruised by the Knick players.
 
Good god I hope Ronny is in there telling his guys to hold the fort. I would hate to see this lead go to waste...it's only a 15 point game now.

It would be nice to win without either of our stars, regardless of who we're playing. Gives our 13 others some confidence...
