That's one neat thing about this version of Lemmings is the competition that arises from trying to whittle even just a few hundredths of a second off of the finish time, to try to move up higher on the scoreboard. I'm inspired to keep trying to devise new strategies, just to see if somehow I can get through the level a wee bit faster. These types of "speed runs" bring a whole new element to the game.

Definitely, in the past versions of Lemmings, I'd just beat the level and be done with it. On this version, I'm replaying the levels just to see how much time I can shave off.

unfortunately, I picked up a Lemmings "compilation" that included Lemmings Paintball.

Why, God, why?

Hey, Lemmings Paintball was fun. Sure, it wasn't as good as Lemmings, and played quite differently (isometric action-puzzle), but still, it wasn't that bad... and the Windows copies of Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings on the CD just make it better (before getting that all I had was the DOS version of the original Lemmings...).

Wait, can you guys view the scoreboards past the 5th score? It only views the top 5 people on my screen, plus your score.

You can check how your friends are doing even if they're out of the top 5, just select Friends by pressing square.

Finally, has anyone picked up the PSP Lemmings? I'm really looking into getting that one as the graphics look great.

Lemmings PSP is a brand new game that features some classic levels and some new levels.

Lemmings PS3 is a brand new game that plays like PSP Lemmings but has all-new levels.

Both are very good if you like this sort of game.

The $2.99 thing was a fluke or a promotion, because it's back to $5.99.

IMO - the game is easily worth the $6 anyway.


If you enjoy the Lemmings style of gameplay ... $6 for all-new levels, plus the best A/V of any version is an easy purchase.
