Who? Duncan has been anchoring the top 3 defensive team each year for the past 10 years. I can't think of another player in recent times that has done the same.
Scottie Pippen. He didn't win a single DPotY award either.

Meh whatever, I personally don't think Wallace deserved all those DPoY's. Last years pick of Camby was pretty pathetic too. I mean, how DPoY can be on a team that doesn't give 2 shit about defense is beyond me.

Well in other news. Ainge named executive of the year.

"Did you hear, Danny Ainge got executive of the year?"

*group laugh*

2003-2004 Jerry West Memphis Grizzlies
2004-2005 Bryan Colangelo Phoenix Suns
2005-2006 Elgin Baylor Los Angeles Clippers
2006-2007 Bryan Colangelo Toronto Raptors
2007-2008 Danny Ainge Boston Celtics

Quick, name the one GM in the league that has yet to win EOTY in the past ten years, but holds the majority of the championships.

Answer: RC Buford still has no executive of the year award.

I'm just shocked Joe Dumars hasn't won it yet. If anyone deserved it....

Someone needs to place the Celtic defense on a milk carton. Bron is getting to the rim way too easily. Also why did Ray Allen even bother fouling Bron on the break if he was just going to give his non-shooting arm a love-tap?

I want the Cavs to win, if only so I can find where I said Detroit would win the East back in like January and post the Colbert"ICalledIt".gif.

Wait, the Cavs *won* last year and you're predicting Detroit to beat them this time? Assuming they get there of course?

Not saying you're wrong, but if the Cavs win this series I'd give them more than a fighting chance against Detroit.

I like Detroit in 7 in that series. LeBron can't possibly single-handedly beat them twice in a row. Also, Detroit can win on the road.

If Chauncey is still hurt, I like the Cavs in that series..

Now admittedly, I like Lebron, but admit he's got a long way to go as far as playing basketball goes. Thing is, I seriously think he can, and I really don't know why.

In before "refs let him travel, that's why" :P

I don't think he can put them all on his back for 4 games, 1 I'll concede (he's doing it tonight after being silent the first 4 games), maybe 2.

It's possible, but I think there are a lot of differences this year compared to last year. For one thing the Pistons bench is MUCH better. It's just my opinion but I think the Cavs got worse after the big trade, I think the Pistons actually match up much better with the current group than the did with Larry Hughes and co. I also think the Pistons are going to be MUCH more rested this year going into a series with Cleveland, our starters minutes are WAY WAY down compared to what they were last year, and we're also putting teams away a lot faster than we did a year ago. It's possible for the Cavs to win, but I actually feel a lot better about the Pistons winning this year than I did last year, we're just so much deeper, especially with the development of Maxiell not to mention Stuckey and Afflalo and of course adding Theo Ratliff helps us too.

I don't usually care about the outcome of playoff games unless it involves the Heat but for some odd reason I really don't want to see the Celtics lose to LeBrick :-(

Too many high character guys I like on that team...

Garnett, Ray, Pierce, PJ Brown.

I want to see PJ win a ring after all those battles he fought alongside Zo versus the Knicks.

Funny how he feels all better when he's not playing in Minny.

Rondo needs to stop trying to be Stephon Marbury and just settle into shooting open jumpers, like he did at the end of the half.

Avery Johnson is a moron. Saying they need to take Wallace out because he hasn't attempted a FG. That's what he is, a defender/rebounder only.

Then Avery redeemed himself with his thoughts on how to stop Kobe. I'm believe Avery knows the game of basketball really well.

I'd like Avery as an analyst or commentator for someone.
