Lebron needs to fix whatever the fuck is wrong, it's embarrassing.

Why don't they just post him up? They tried it the first play of the game and haven't gone back since. Even if his turnaround jumper isn't working, the Celts will be forced to double and he can kick out for 3s..

Lebron kind of reminds me of Scottie Pippen. Not really a strong shooter, but he can do everything else (minus Pippen's defense). He just needs to be paired up with a 25+ PPG player.

Kind of. He reminds me of Magic Johnson, but he doesn't have the ball handling skills and he's a slightly less better passer. He's a better rebounder and scorer, however.

Lebron has sucked this series, but a lot of that falls on Mike Brown. He should be posting Lebron up more and Lebron should NOT be dribbling as much as he has been. He dribbles more than Delonte West and they traded to get someone who can dribble the basketball. It's absolutely absurd.

We had our years hating Doc Rivers. In interviews and composure on the court however is excellent. With that being said I am convinced Mike Brown has downs.

Yeah, but that would waste his point guard skills, which are arguably the best part of his game. If he could get on the same team as Dwight Howard or Kevin Durant (assuming he develops into a good shooter), I could see him winning multiple championships.

Lebron and Dwight would rule the NBA for years.

It would be as dominant as Jim and Dwight (from The Office) on the same sales team.

LeBron doesn't remind me of any of the greats because he doesn't play both sides of the ball to be honest with you. The game has changed but but almost shameful when you don't give any effort.

Awww...Pierce gave LeBrick a big hug.

Um, Mike Brown isn't doing that probably because LeBron has no post game.

If Cleveland had a legitimate second scoring option they'd be a lock for the championship, no question. For example, if Lebron played with Kevin Martin or Richard Jefferson they'd be significantly better. The problem with the Cavs is that Lebron is expected to do ALL of the scoring and the opposing teams know this.

:lol Bron did like a 720 with pierce holding him. I think he was trying to break free and flop

Yay, GAF is back!

Anyways, NBA announced the All-NBA Defensive teams today.

2007-08 NBA ALL-DEFENSIVE FIRST TEAM
Position Player, Team 1st 2nd Points
Forward Kevin Garnett, Boston 24 4 52
Guard Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers 24 4 52
Center Marcus Camby, Denver 14 9 37
Guard/Forward Bruce Bowen, San Antonio 13 10 36
Forward Tim Duncan, San Antonio 12 9 33

2007-08 NBA ALL-DEFENSIVE SECOND TEAM
Position Player, Team 1st 2nd Points
Forward Shane Battier, Houston 9 11 29
Guard Chris Paul, New Orleans 10 6 26
Center Dwight Howard, Orlando 8 9 25
Forward Tayshaun Prince, Detroit 3 14 20
Guard Raja Bell, Phoenix 4 10 18

I don't think Kobe, Prince, Paul and Bell belongs there. But hey...these are voted by the 30 coaches.

KG and TD are the only players that deserve to be on the first team. And how Josh Smith didn't make it on I will never know..

Would someone please tell Rondo to stop being a ball hog on the road, and to pass the ball?

Including the first half of this game, in the playoffs this year, he's:

47/112 overall (41.96%) In 10.5 games
26/53 at home (49.06%) in 6 games.
21/59 on the road (35.59%) in 4.5 games.

Lebron has no jump shot, but he shoots a higher % overall than Kobe does. Career and season wise.
And Shaq shoots a higher % than both of them, but I don't think anyone would say he's a good shooter.

Camby is a beast on defense. And Chandler should be on the second team, at least.

Kobe is the more efficient scorer when you take into account 3-point shooting and free throws.

Also, guys who take a lot of 3s like Kobe (or Ray Allen, or Michael Redd, etc) always have lower shooting percentages than guys who mainly score in the paint.

You know what...

...the Cavs are better when Lebron is a playmaker instead of a scorer. They're much more active and not just standing around waiting for him to pass to them with less than 5 seconds on the shot clock.

no he was supposed to be a KING
In all fairness Michael Jordan or Magic Johnson couldn't win with this crap Cavs team, either. Wally Fucking Zerbiack (however it's spelled) is the #2 option for god's sake.

I really only follow the NBA during the playoffs, but I can't wait for this Celts/Cavs series to be over. All of the games have been brutally boring or hard to watch. Especially after watching that Wizards series with all that animosity.

but, he took em to the finals last year.
As someone said earlier in this thread, Lebron's a streak shooter and he got on one hell of a streak during the Detroit series. And Boobie Gibson was playing like Reggie Miller.

Tyson is a great defender. Camby is a great shot blocker who leaves his feet too much and leaves his man too much..
