10 mins till the schedule show. I swear only the NFL could pull off a whole show to announce their schedule and get millions (myself included) to watch it.
MaestroRyan said:i think it's safe to say the 49ers will surprise a lot of people this year. alex smith will continue to develop and frank is a ****ing beast. if they have a solid draft, 9ers could sneak into the playoffs, mainly because NFC West is a ****ing joke.
It pays to be in the NFC North: One year after having the NFL's easiest schedule, the Bears check in with the second-easiest schedule (.465) this season. Chicago's three divisional foes were a combined 17-31 (.354) in 2006.

Later in the second quarter, Scott zipped around left end untouched and flattened Roethlisberger with a driving hit to the chest. The quarterback lay prone for several minutes before finally walking off the field on his own.
"That's probably the hardest I've ever been hit in my life. I didn't see the guy coming," Roethlisberger said. "He hit me clean, hit me front side and I just kind of remember my head hitting the ground.'

Unless you believe the rantings of a madman (FMT), it is hard to believe that the Cardinals, Browns, Niners, or Seahawks are going to be powerhouses next season. Maybe Buffalo will be good and maybe Holmgren wants revenge, but I am thinking thoughts of another Superbowl and if you can't pound on the mediocre teams then you just aren't that good.Spectral Glider said:It's the NFL though, tough schedules now usually wind up being easier and vice versa once the season hits the half way point.
Considering they get about 4-5 sacks every time they play him where the offensive linemen decide to see how well Ben can block for himself and that Ben usually gets some sort of injury afterwards I don't blame Ben if he doesn't look forward to playing that team.DarienA said:I think in his subconscious Big Ben is just scared to death of the Ravens.
After the ugliness on display for the Colts at Ravens divisional-round playoff game in January, dare we even hope for anything better when Indy returns to Baltimore in Week 13 -- this time as defending Super Bowl champion? Said it before and I'll say it again: I agree with Manning. Let it go, Ravens fans. The guy who took the Colts to Indianapolis is long gone.
