Pacman Jones punched an attorney in a strip club... he's pretty much done now right?
ESPN link:
A woman is seeking an arrest warrant against suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, claiming he punched her at an Atlanta strip club.

Fulton County Magistrate Court officials told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Wanda S. Jackson asked for the warrant after a Jan. 3 altercation at the Body Tap Strip Club.

Jackson, an attorney, says in her filing that she was in the club's office when an angry Jones accused managers of stealing his money and bracelet.

"I was sitting in the office and he lunged at me numerous times in an effort to do grave bodily harm," Jackson wrote in the warrant application filed Jan. 7. "Veronica Jones, an owner, went into the hall to deal with a member of his entourage. I followed to gawk. He was in the hall, surprisingly reached over or around a security guard and sucker punched me in my left eye."

If I say VY is stupid am I being a hater? Sounds pretty truthful to me...

P.S. I <3 VY for the Rose Bowl game against SC but I still think his fanboys were megadouches here when people brought up reasonable points as to why MJD should have gotten ROY over him, so I won't skip out on pissing on him when he's down.
lol Well, I know I sure as hell wouldn't care about sounding smart if I were as physically gifted as he is. IMO neither MJD or VY should have gotten the ROY. Colston and Demaco Ryans were both better rookies. And who the hell cares? Rookie awards dont matter. Being champs does.

Edit: stupid pacman. stop going to strip clubs you horny bastard. Now we need another startiing corner. Harper wont last for long

As a proud member of the Pacman Jones Club (i.e. you've made it rain at a strip club) I would like to say that the Man is trying to hold his ass down. FREE PACMAN.

Nice try, Starr only won 5 championships. Lord Brady is sure to catch up with him in the next couple of years.

5 championships and 2 Super Bowls. The two were separate in 1966 and 1967 (so in those years he won the NFL Championship, and then the Super Bowl).

and yes, that was a joke. But if you're going to count Super Bowls that Brady might win in the future, then I'll count technicalities.

So any news on Ross and Madison playing this Sunday?

Injury updates are tomorrow

I thought this was interesting, the youngest team in the nfl(GB) is playing the 3rd youngest(NY). Says a lot about both teams drafting and pick ups

Weird, Norm Chow fired by the Titans. Guess they don't think any of it was Young's fault.

And I sleep alone
I cry alone
And it's so hard livin' here on my own
So please, come home soon

I know that we're together
Even though we're far apart

:lol Maybe they should hire a special teams specialist as their head coach.

The Bears special teams coach should get the offer. Look at how many TDs he has made that no talent hack Hestar score. I'm sure somewhere there are people who believe that.

Read it at a Giants message board(BBI). I'll try to find a link of the ages of all the teams, but I remember it being mentioned several times

edit: bleh can't find it

If Dallas had beaten the Giants last week, they'd have gone on to the Super Bowl. At Lambeau, the Packers have a MUCH better chance of winning than they did in Dallas. I'd say you should count your blessings.
:lol

not really...Farve would've gotten over that dallas stadium hump. Also, the cowboys played like complete shit for the last month.

I don't understand all these prognosticators. The cold weather is supposed to hurt the Giants, is what they say, but they aren't the ones that really so heavily on the passing game. Personally I would not like to catch one of those bullet passes from Brett Favre in weather that cold.

Would be a good day for:

And AccuScore gave SD a 30% chance of beating Indy, and New York a 33% chance of beating Dallas.

Not so accurate if you ask me.

Actually they were perfectely right on. AccuScore gave 1 out of 3 games to the Giants, and that's exactly what happened. The G-men won 1 out of 3 games against the Cowboys, it's just that the game they won was more important than the two they lost. You could even go as far as say that AccuScore's prediction was that the G-men were going to win, instead of thinking that they only had a 33% chance that game.

By the way, I am doing my usual weekly penance by reading TMQ.... for a guy that thinks he's so smart and goes on these high-falutin' tirades... he tends to screw up tenses and basic rules of English quite a bit.

You can't wear it in public though : \

You could, its just difficult. Even though the colors are a little darker, you could rock that jersey with the USA Kobe Shoes. Throw on some jeans and you would look ok. You would stand out for sure but hey

What? No! He's a good QB coach!!!! FUCK
Now VY has to learn a new system. Fuck.

you're assuming he learned the last one. I watched plenty of Norm Chow's offenses at USC to know that "throw a shitty sidearm pass at the receivers feet" was not something in his playbook back them. Come back to SC Norm! We can ship Sarkisian out right alongside Booty.

It kind of looks like it's made like the new NHL jerseys? Who is making those?

And while they will probably look cool on the field, that is some hideous shit to be wearing around town.

NFC East teams are built for that type of weather. Although I acknowledge that GB is on its own level from time to time, I don't see the adverse weather conditions completely dismantling the team like it did to SEA.

Seattle was beat by the middle of the second quarter, before the snow started falling hard. Ryan Grant gifted em 2 scores, and the Packers coming back on three straight posessions (I'm pretty sure?) and retaking the lead before half time was a back breaker.

That said, I don't think weather will play much of a factor, but it does tilt things in favor of Favre.

Poor weather also makes it more difficult to respond to wide receiver routes. I'd say this is clearly in favor of the Packers, whose receiver depth combined with the injuries to the Giants secondary would make match-ups all the more difficult.

Please don't get me wrong, SEA was going to lose regardless of the weather IMO. But I do feel that the game would have been much closer if their pass rush was not completely negated by the weather conditions.

I also believe that SEA's lack of rushing attack is what sealed the deal.

Packers had the best (or second best, not positive) protection on the year. Because of the short quick hitter type of routes they ran, the weather really didn't matter in terms of protection. Kearney is a speed rusher, which means he goes around guys. This necessarily takes longer than a guy like Reggie White, who took a more direct route. Quick slants and crossing patterns negate a lot of the effectiveness of a rusher like Kearney (who, holy shit, looked amazing in their wild card game).

Seattle just had no answer in the secondary, and as such really didn't have a chance. Plus, without the turnovers Seattle's offensive was impotent, even when the weather was decent.

I'm not knocking the Pack, no need to get defensive. I trust that everything you say is true in regards to their statistical standings but I also believe that SEA would have been able to keep the game a bit closer if the field wasn't so sloppy.

I'm not a fan of domes and playing in perfect conditions, I believe football is meant to be played in whatever condition happens to be outside at the moment. The Packers nailed SEA down and deserved that win 100%.

I understand, just providing a different perspective. I think that game was over before the weather hit.

Looks like the girl in the Patriots jersey that got booed last week got offered tickets to the AFC Championship by the team and is going to be a part of the coin toss, too.

Link

Good move by them.

I've already gone over it with wellington. Green Bay is anywhere from 280-320 miles north of the NFC East cities. NYC is more slightly more north than Philly, and their average temperatures are over 15 points higher in December (when they would be playing their coldest regular season ball) and in January are still almost 15 points higher than just Green Bay's January. Hell, New York's average LOW for both of those months is almost equal to Green Bay's average high for those months.

Is it major? No, but enough to say that playing in the NFC East in November or December is nothing like playing on the Frozen Tundra in January. :)

Yeah, here's the story.

This week is going too slow. Can't wait for Sunday. All the talk about the Chargers and Pats is boring. Nothing new. Media just going over the same old shit.

Just saying that I think NY can deal with the weather a bit better than SEA. That's all GB fans, nothing mean from me. :lol
