All i know is that the nfc next season will be sooo much better then the afc.

08 nfl season comebacks/good teams

saints
bears
giants
cowboys
redskins
vikings
eagles
greenbay
seahawks
san fran
cardinals
panthers

and i think the dolphins and falcons for some reason or another be an awesome comeback team next season too. 08 can't come soon enough.

I don't see how atlanta can be good next year. Dolphins will at least have Ronnie Brown, Ricky Williams, and have a healthy secondary for the first time since the preseason of this season.

Gigglepoo: do you really think that last Giants/Pats is a sign that they have any sort of chance against a Patriots team coming off a bad game with two weeks of preparation and a shot at history? I don't.

They played without Sam Madison last time, you'll be surprised how much your best corner affects the way you cover the best receiving core in the league.

QFT. The NFC is always disrespected. There are a bunch of great teams that are only going to get better next year.

Like Coughlin just said, I've got to hand it to the players from both teams out there tonight. In one of the coldest games in NFL playoff history both teams played at a very high level and didn't let it get to them.

(Though for the sake of Coughlin's health thank god the SB is indoors.:D)

9ers are gonna suck as much next year as this year. :lol at giving their first round pick to Pats

Meh, they got Patrick Willis at 11 last year. You don't need a top 5 pick to get a stud. There are plenty of great athletes available in the late 20s.

Congrats Wellington. I could only imagine what you were feeling when Tynes shanked that easy field goal. Your team deserved to win and did. The two best teams are playing for the right to be champion and that's how it should be. May the better team win in two weeks. I also want to say that tackle Pierce made on Grant on that screen play was amazing and is probably a tie for play of the week with Faulk's huge 3rd down completion.

"Aw, still getting picked on..."

So either we'll have Boston spots fans acting like they do when they win or we'll have Yankees fans pretending they were here all along celebrating when they win.

Whoever wins, we lose.

why does eli look like he's straight out of Deliverance? is he gonna challenge tom brady or tell him how purrty his mouf is?

I couldn't want the FG with :04 left. I only saw the part where it went left passed the FG post.

Then after Webster picked off Favre, I was so pumped! Then was in complete disbelief once he hit that FG in OT. :D :D :D

Oh geeze! Have a little fun with this. These two games were very exciting.

Thanks bros. :D

That is fine guys the Giants will get smoked by the Pats. It was a good run fellas let's not even go to Arizona.

One thing though, I hope Grant has a huge season next year. The kid is as good as it gets.

no no. I just wrote the phrase wrongs. 5 > wins for lions. sorry it was confusing. :(

i was just picking on you b/c of the percent thing earlier now this.

and that makes 0 sense o.0

Less than 5 wins for the lions. let's leave it at that.

I've been on the Eli bandwagon from the beginning. I had him ranked as the second best NFC quarterback at the midpoint this season.
Even excluding statistics, I think it's clear that this Eli is a very different one from the Eli at any other point during the season. There is no way the Eli that threw four interceptions against the Vikings was the second best QB in the NFC. He certainly had the potential to be this good, but he had to stay consistant. And to stay consistant he had to stay patient. He always seemed to have a mini meltdown when things got rough. His receivers dropped a few balls early on today, but he didn't seem to get too bothered. He had a complete meltdown against the Vikings when his receivers couldn't hold on to the ball. I believe he has out played all three opposing QBs he has faced in the playoffs. He hasn't necessarily had all star performances, but he managed to keep his head above the competition. Eli has at least now made strides in validating his talent, something I don't think even Romo has quite done. I'm actively rooting for Eli to sustain that now. It'll be an ongoing process because ultimately he still has to fulfill his talent. He was just too inconsistant before the end of the regular season to be put up there. But now he begins to enter the argument and will need to continue to be this consistant.

You love the idea of Rex playing in San Francisco, don't you?
nah, its just that i wouldn't be surprise. To be honest though,I don't think he'll go there anyway since shaun hill looks like a decent QB.

Take that shit to gaming side where people actually think you're triple dog daring them.
Nah it's alright. I'll just let those who post 10,000+ times on an internet message board say whatever they want from now on because they must be cool.

The first game was frustrating as hell. For the most part the Pats were not playing that great of a game but the Chargers are playing as if Wannstedt was their coach settling for FGs and punting every chance they got, what the hell. Why is in the hell was LT not playing? Norv Turner is trash, that team played a conservative and that is not how you play the Pats. So the Pats win, congrats to them, they are still the most incredible team ever, and I still hope they lose a game by accident.

The second game was amazing, I was going for the Pack, I wanted to se Favre in the SB again. The Giants continue to surprise, they are just finding ways to win in all these away games, its crazy. Congrats to Giant fans, I hope they play like they did in week 17, you guys took it to the Pats, that was one hell of a game. At the very least, don't get blown out, I want to see a good SB.

So go Giants, but we all know whats going to happen.

"How about this: good career numbers + Champion is better than just good career numbers."

I stand by that.

but not great career numbers. Or spectacular career numbers.

P.S. How do race car drivers drink gatorade if they're wearing a helmet?

"Namath is clearly better than Marino. That isn't even a question."

Do you stand by that one as well :lol
