Well I don't know what the Jags excuse is but at last for Pitt you can say well with Parker out they aren't as confident in their running game.

i agree. Jaguar this half just forgot where there strength was. And they really panicked when they went down by one.

Such a dumb play call....

Was that the actual call, look like they just ad libbed that shit.

EDIT:

2:38, on your own 49... should be easy to get in to FG range... but the Jags offense has done nothing lately......

Oh yeah that's such a right-on statement.

Get the fuck out of here man.

By skill I meant speed/quickness. Without Parker the only such threat is Washington. A "slow" field is a competitive advantage for possession receivers and bruisers like Davenport.

Sorry, clearly that 3rd and six sprint out by Roethlisburger makes my statement incorrect!

Oh man, no catch there, used the ground.

OMG why would you give up your last TO!!!!!

Not a good decision to challenge this IMO.

EDIT: That camera angle doomed him.

Your last timeout and u use it on this challenge.... not worth it at all. Too much to lose here, that call is not being overturned. No catch.

Holmes is much more of a speed threat than Washington is and while Ward isn't a deep threat, he is definitely an asset as a skill player when catching the mid-range pass.

There are 2:30 left. Timeouts are pretty meaningless for JAX at this point, so the challenge worth a shot. If you can't score on this possession, a timeout isn't going to get the ball back.

IMO TO's are never meaningless man.

Icing the kicker on a long Pitts field goal attempt?

But why waste it?

The initial replays clearly showed the ball on the ground as possession was made.

Given the 2 Minute warning, 2 Timeouts are still better than 1

I'm about to have a heart attack, I feel like I've just ran a few miles. My heart is pounding uncontrollably and my hands are shaking beyond belief. I hate games like these.....

Maybe, but they only have about 80 catches combined on the year so they count as, at most, 1.5 players.

It wasn't a knock on the Steelers, they just aren't a "skill" team, especially without Willie.

I think I just agreed with John Madden: The Jags should've gotten another play off before the warning.

I think I agree with milking the clock a bit. As I type, Al is speaking through my thought process, so I won't bother repeating.

Risk v. Reward, the challenge wasn't terrible, they aren't in a time crunch given where they are on the field. If anything, they get yards and then try to milk the clock.

The "icing the kicker" comment is valid, although it's a statistical waste.
