Maybe the Giants should take a strike at the endzone here, based on past history the Bucs are probably expecting a 4-yard pass on 3rd down. Toomer is looking game today, get him the ball.
 
So is this the bad Eli you guys were talking about? Amazing how bad a QB looks when he has no time to throw. The Oline doing a better job pass blocking.

We need to give Bradshaw a few looks, the Bucs D is just flowing downhill and everyone knows BJac can't cut back as well as most. Bradshaw has that ability and it should be utilized here.
 
Derrick Brooks with a dumb play there. A tackle is a 1-yard gain, an incompletion is no gain. But missing the incompletion and the tackle means touchdown. Easy risk-reward there.

At least this is a game now!
 
They blitzed almost that entire series and Eli responded well. Look to them to go back into their more traditional looks to confuse Eli.

Fantastic job by our boy hanging tough in the pocket though. The MO has been to rattle him to make him throw a bad pass, and the Bucs went away from what they typically do to get something going.

And he was just as awesome at stuffing bags as he was at QB! Vermeil can spot talent anywhere, whether it's the Bowl games or a late night trip to Pathmark....

Dude come on, Eli has looked horrible at times over the course of two seasons. I'm not saying hes terrible but a few good games does not overshadow a season or two of blunders. That being said, he is looking pretty good right now.

I'm not talking about the season. I am talking about the guys that said that Eli sucks or whatever when he was getting absolutely no time from the OLine in the first quarter, and was onl 2/3 for 9 yards. How is that Eli stinking it up?

The fact of the matter is that fucking no one is objective when they see the kid play, yeah 20 picks on the year is pretty bad but when the game is on the line, I expect him to step it up and he has delivered more often than not.

I think we are 30 and 25 with him at the helm, including that first year when he took over and went 1-6 to finish out the season.

He's an easy target because of his last name. It's been like that since he was drafted. We should be used to it by now, but it is still quite irritating at times.
