Minny and Detroit are killing me. Can we just stop all picks on NFC North teams? Can I add Baltimore to that list? All NFC North teams and Baltimore? I'm never listening to the hype about their defense as long as they have the same offense.

just pick the bears every week. our D is so, so very good(and underrated).

Two fun facts: Carolina is now 7-2 against defending Super Bowl Champs and all those pundits who said that Kris Jenkins injury leaves a huge hole in the Panthers rushing D: The Saints and Pats had a combined 140 yards on 49 carries, or a 2.8 ypc average.

edit:
Some are calling this a Super Bowl preview, but I'm not. That would be disrespectful to the Eagles and Falcons. The Panthers could end up being like last year's Seahawks, who were many people's pick to win the NFC but got knocked out in the first round of the playoffs. Carolina already has lost defensive tackle Kris Jenkins for the season. His absence will affect the Panthers' defense because there is no replacement for Jenkins. Whoever takes over his spot just isn't the same caliber of player.

The Patriots clearly are the best team in the NFL because 1) they're used to winning and 2) they have Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. They clearly are the favorites for Super Bowl XL. Everyone else is chasing after them.

Prediction: New England. This is the week Corey Dillon bounces back with a big rushing day. Look for the Patriots to get back to what they do, and that's running the football and playing great defense.

Corey Dillon - 14 carries, 36 yds

SUCK ON MY NUT SACK CRIS CARTER

Man, Pennington has no velocity. They've had the Dolphins' defense beaten so many times now, but Pennington just completely lacks the ability to zip it in down field now.

So much for the shoulder surgery fixing his arm strength.

Carr gets sacked 8 times...jesus,glad I slept and didnt follow the game,I knew the Texans would get raped.

13 times in 2 games,he will be lucky to live thru the season :( Hes on pace for like 104 times sacked, more than his rookie record.

:lol :lol :lol It's always fun seeing the "media experts" looking like shit...

21-0 Seahawks. Yeah, I'm actually gonna turn the game off now. The Falcons defense doesn't even look like they're trying.

Just want to thank the guys who told me to start the Bears D over Indy, 33 points! and I started thomas Jones too 28.8. Bears kicked all sorts of ass for me today!

Da Bears!

Is there any sites online that post highlights from the games? I know the NFL site does this but it takes them awhile to get them up.

Texans owned! Go Steelers! Great game. 2-0 bitches.

Pittsburgh at Houston, 1:00 p.m. - No, I don't actually believe this.

:lol

The look on Carr's face most of the game was priceless :lol

that pass should have been picked. seachickens luck out! come on falcons, keep the chickens at the bottom of the nfc west!!

edit - diablos what the F are you doing in a football thread?

Hey, what can I say FMT, I love my football team. So much that I froze my ass off just to watch them lose to the Pats during the playoff game last year. :(

Revenge shall be had.

anyone else with me in the "Guys Who Own Daunte Culpepper In Their Fantasy League And Are Officially Sweating Bullets Association" sponsored by Bill Simmons? What the fuck is this shit? And it won't get any better, cuz Tice is going to be fired within the next 48 hours.:\

EDIT: and, as a lions fan, I would like to add that while it's only week 2, that if they lose to Tampa Bay coming off the Bye week next week, the seasons an official wash, and we should just lose out to guarantee a shot at matt leinart.

San Diego is imploding! Wait, spoke too soon. Another red zone turnover by the Broncos :lol

So much for Rothlisberger's sophomore slump. That bitch is 15-0 in the regular season.

Awesome catch by Ferguson. Slingin and Slangin Favre throws an INT in the end zone.

Favre does not have the WRs to be lobbing up crap like that in the endzone. If he played a bit more in control, they have the running game to be successful...

So where is that guy who said to pick the seahawks? Oh wait hes right here...

I didn't change my pick here, but I did change it to Seattle this morning in my pick 'em leagues :)

good lord, we are fucking shooting are selfs inthe foot...

2 missed feild goals, fumble in the red zone... and an td that a penalty fucked up :(

thankfully are D is doing good.

If Clinton Portis doesn't run for 180 yards tomorrow, i'll let any of you pick my avatar for a month. I can't wait to see him shred through the cowgirls.

HELL FUKKEN NO.

Omar Jacobs/Vince Young/Marcus Vick up in this bitch!
They don't need a running QB though, they need someone who can sit in the pocket and hit receivers consistently, and that's what Leinart brings to the table.

I'm calling this right now: the TD that was stolen from the Jets earlier in this game is going to be the difference in the game.
