Why did the Bucs go for that? Why not just kick the FG?

EDIT:

Man our running game is ass today... <looks at scoreboard> incredible.

Now we get the helmet to helmet call!

edit: I just saw the hit on Green. It appears the ref's non-calls are not limited to the Seattle-Detroit game.
i was pissed about the call on Ernie Sims but after the replay you absolutely have to call that. He didn't even try to pull off and really, really could have hurt Hasselbeck there.

Umm... except Geathers was BLOCKED into Green.

Wow, just saw the hit on the Green. There should have been a big time flag on that hit.

I'll say it again in less than 10 posts- Geathers was BLOCKED into Trent Green. That is why there was no flag.

This D is awful >_<

I just saw the actually hit and not what transpired downfield from the play......

But, that must have been one hell of a block.

I'm using TVU. For those watching it on TV, is their a challenge going on right now about an inc pass (denver game)?

Edit: It was ruled incomplete, shanahan won the challenge.

I'm not saying the force of this hit came from that exclusively (it obviously didn't). That is why they did not throw a flag though.

Of course Gannon is all "Oh Michael Clayton has to blah blah...", he's an ex-QB so he's gonna take Simms' side. The throw was dreadful and that's the bottom line. Clayton probably didnt even see it because it was so off.
