Which is my point. As a defender facing both the receiver and the quarterback you should know where the fucking ball is. How the hell would Clark time it then for his hit to not be called PI?

Probably because he saw the ball heading to Welker, decided that he might catch it, and decided to take him out. Again, as has been said, if he had caught it, or even if it had reached Welker and been dropped, no one would be saying anything about this. From the slow-mo gif, yeah, it looks like he might have been able to stop. But then watch the youtube vid and its obvious that he had timed the hit perfectly and was committing himself to make the hit.

I really think the Lions will beat MIN this week.

Culpepper is going to unleash the dragon and MIN will be handicapped with their loss of the Williams crew.
 
Clark's hit was legal, Welker was a dumbass for slowing down when the ball was tipped, and the league already said it shouldn't have been a penalty. That's the end of that.

A lot of people picking against the Giants. I would guess it's because of the Plaxico thing?

Well last week the Giants were on the road in bad weather conditions without Plax and against a good secondary and Eli put up 300 yards. Going to be a tough game because Philly's secondary is better than Washington, and they actually have a pass-rush.

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackles Pat Williams and Kevin Williams have won a big victory in their efforts to avoid being suspended by the National Football League

KSTP-TV in Minneapolis is reporting that Judge Gary Larson has issued a temporary restraining order against the NFL. That means, for now, that Williams and Williams should be allowed to play Sunday. The Williamses said they were heading straight from the courthouse to the Vikings’ practice facility.

However, this is far from over. KSTP reports that another hearing is expected in the next few days.

It affects their ability to work so they can presumably restrain the NFL from preventing them to work or enter NFL facilities. Without the restraining order they could still pursue things in the courts but the NFL could legally keep them suspended and banned from doing anything NFL related but watching the games on TV.

As Milabrega mentioned, bad, bad news for Lions fans (or fantasy owners of Kevin Smith) and possibly really bad news for Vikings fans if they miss the playoffs, but also a good strategic move to keep them playing and potentially offset problems to next season.

He better be the defensive player of the year, Ware and Porter have a few more sacks but Harrison has 20-40 more tackles, 3-4 more forced fumbles, and 1 more int then them while having a competition with another Steeler in Woodley.

only reason i would pick the eagles would be cause its a divisional match and those are usually close games. eagles kept it close against the cowboys, redskins, and giants the first time around.

i fully expect the eagles to lose and end any chances of the playoffs but i think it will be close. like giants winning by 14 close.

It won't matter. We're a pretender, and the only shot we have of making the playoffs is beating Detroit and hoping Chicago and Green Bay fall on their faces. We're not going to beat Atlanta, Arizona, or NYG.
