Fixed. Poor bastard. :(
yeah. I mean I live in Denver and the whole town is going crazy right now; even talked to two strangers on the street about it since the game, but yeah we know what happened. Hell so did shannahan; that's exactly why he went for two. He figured what the hell. Well that and he's crazy.

"BAD BAD MANAGEMENT"

:lol :lol

I can't believe that I picked the Niners.

I thought that an average team could beat the Seahawks considering they are a West Coast offense without a star running back and are missing their top 4 starting receivers (not to mention that they qb is bald and has a gimpy back).

Again the Niners fuck me over when I forget that they are far from an average team.
You need more faith. ;)

ok so on that play where chambers was stripped and bailey took the ball...the one where instant replay did not work.....colinsworth said it was a simultaneous catch and thats not reviewable anyway. so on a simultaneous isn't the ball rewarded to the offense anyway?

Exactly, they really fucked up.

Plus, how does replay "not work"? They don't have a contingency plan? If I can see it, surely someone can bring the referee a TV so he can see it.

The NFL is run by morons.

Yes.

Yep, that is what happened in the NYG/STL game.

That's just it, since it wasn't reviewable anyway, the ruling on the field would have stood. And that was an INT.

No, because the official ruled it an INT. There shouldn't have been a review in the first place.

Nah, it's in the rules, if the replay equipment isn't working, they can't replace it during the replay.

Damn, Ben had no shot there.

Which is why I said the NFL is run by morons. By not having a contingency plan, they make it so problems like this can't be rectified.

I saw my first instant of the force out rule being eliminated today. Some scrub caught the ball in front of Clements and he just caught him and dragged him out of bounds. Pretty lame. I can't believe they got rid of the force out. I would have been livid had that gone against the Niners.

Uh, no it's not. The NFL is run by a group of very smart business men that have turned it into America's most popular sport, far and away.

I know I'm a few hours late with my joy but...

GO PANTHERS! I honestly never thought they could've gone 2-0 without Steve Smith in the lineup! It wasn't pretty in the slightest bit but they pulled it out.

Oh and the Chargers got robbed. super-robbed

Pushing and shoving! YAY!

Edit: Uh oh

It's football, of course it's super popular. Doesn't mean the people running it aren't beyond stupid. What league thinks it's a good idea to stick an entire region with just the Raiders/Chiefs game, with no other options?

Sunday ticket ftw :D

I think they need to have cams in each of the ref's hats. That way you can see it how they saw it. Maybe people wouldn't be so quick to judge if they saw the angles at which ref's had to make plays. Also it could help you see if the ref really did blow the play or just had a bad angle.

And about the fumble at the end of the game...yes it's unfortunate he wrongly blew the whistle and the play was dead, but once the whistle is blown people stop playing (and get penalized if they don't) and so accounting for anything after that gets very murky. A guy could easily say...well if I hadn't stopped I could've gone up , re-stripped the ball and got it back, etc.

I have been looking all over but can't find a reason as to why Anthony Fasano didn't seem to play today. Anyone know? He cost me a lot.
