FFS get rid of Cole and Neal already. Cole's voice is still pure hockey but when you actually listen to what he's saying it's embarrassing. And Neal can barely recognize 2 players on each team.

canes are probably freaking out because they had no scouting report on conklin. omg oilers secret weapon.
 
If I know anything about miracle hockey runs, (and I've seen the Mighty Ducks movies 1-3) Ty Conklin will play amazing and will win this series for the Oil.
 
Conklin is fine for now, getting thrown in like this usually makes the goalies react fine because they don't have time to freak out about how shitty they are and how they're not good enough to take a team deep in the AHL playoffs nevermind the Cup Finals.

If Conklin has to play next game though... look out. :lol

I can't get over the last 12 seconds of the game. Un freaking real. I was sure the Oilers were going to score 4 times easy.


I called my oilers lovin' brothers 4 times already. No answer. :D
 
Just chiming in on that last sequence.. what a Goddamn rediculous save. Seriously, how he got across.. I think losing his stick gave him just the agility he needed to glove that. Amazing. Wonderful game (for hockey).

Cam Ward was amazing, but damn if Carolina isn't the luckiest team in pro sports.

Koivu gets hurt in the Montreal series ... the series changes after that.

They get to play Buffalo with 3 of their top D-men out (then FOUR in game 7 :lol )

Now Roloson, really probably the MVP of the playoffs thus far, gets injured and they get a gift of a goal to win the game.

Anyways though ... this series is a lot more entertaining than the Flames-Lightning finals of '04, even despite the injury situation.

OK, I'll retract my statement. Maybe I was fortunate enough to miss the game......
 
Carolina basically wins the Cup by default ... how unreal that they basically just have to show up vs. both Buffalo and now Edmonton.
