Yeah, it comes with an HDMI port and a play and charge kit (which I assume matches the color scheme of the controller and headset) in addtion to the regular Premium content. I think there's free gamerpics and dashboard theme as well, wheee! That's what you get for $50, and the Halo 3 finish, of course.sp0rsk said:

Aug. 6, 2007 Microsoft Corp. today kicked off the greatest holiday lineup in video game history by announcing it will reduce the estimated retail price (ERP) of Xbox 360 by $50 (U.S.) beginning Aug. 8. That Halo 360 is really over priced. The play and charge kit should be thrown in with the premium at no extra cost at this point.

I really like the Halo edition, but it should come with the game for that price.
Pretty poor price drop by Microsoft. The $70 gap between the Core and Premium only further marginalizes that SKU. If they had dropped the price of the HDD to $70 as well, I could understand the reasoning, but the PR does not mention it.
That said, I think this will have a pretty big impact on August NPD sales. I can see sales going up by at least 50%, and much further in September. But I can't help but feel that Microsoft has just given up on one of their major long-term strategies this gen: Get the Core to a price that will drive mass-adoption. The drop is too little too late on that SKU. The Premium and Elites will sell very well this holiday, though.

Been in the works for this time for awhile now it seems. Also, it looks like only the Halo 3 Special Edition 360 and the Elite's will have HDMI out for now.
