Official Prince of Persia Thread

I may have to pre-order a game for the first time this year due to that awesome bonus. Wow. I assume that's a Gamestop-only thing in the US?

Edit: Nevermind, looks like the Limited Edition US boxart isn't like the one on the last page. Fuck it then. :lol

Don't really have someone specific in mind, but i would rather like serious cool looking skins and not the jokes kind.

Is it possible to get the classic Prince and Farah skins which you get from pre-ordering by simply completing the game? Cus it doesn't seem fair that only those that pre-order(which i have) it will get it, a lot of shops aren't doing any special offers even if you pre-order.

I want those skins so bad but had already pre-ordered at best buy (closer to my house). If they'll be made available later as DLC that'd be great.
 
For those that are watching it, when they mentioned Combat being easy, they really mean it is easy to get into and easy to show off. You will still need to learn the more complex moves to make combat more effective but even new players will be able to pull off some great looking stuff.

The skins will be for 360 and PS3. Some skins will be pre-order stuff and some will be unlocks in the game and also some for Ubisoft Account linking.
 
I was gonna say, I don't think Bosch is voicing the Prince. I thought it was the same guy that did Nathan from Uncharted?

Is there a possibility of adding the Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and the Flame's Prince and/or PoP 3D's Prince? It'll be cool to have them in this game. :)
 
This guy's opinions on the differences between platforms is opposite of what reviews have said....hmmm.
 
Is it just me, or does the gameplay look fairly repetitive based on the streaming? I'm not even seeing any types of puzzles or anything.

PC version just because if you have a high spec PC, it does look stunning but both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game look fantastic. As for Jaggies...its not really noticeable to be perfectly honest. It does not detract from the animation and flow of the game.
 
I hope I wasn't too late to pre-order for the special edition. Is the receipt different if you are getting the special edition?
 
I'm so on-the-fence with this game. One one hand it looks beautiful, the platforming looks fun and the story sounds interesting, but on the other hand it looks very straightforward and the combat looks a bit repetitive. Argh... I can't decide. D,:

I call the assassins creed dilemma. For what its worth though I enjoyed AC very much. Running across roof tops and trying to reach the highest places was great fun.
 
I had a question, I haven't followed this game that closely and was wondering if this game continues the story from the 3 games last gen or if it is stand alone.

Complete stand alone experience. There may be a few nods to the previous games through easter eggs and references for fans, but nothing past that.

I enjoyed AC as well, but the gameplay seemed more varied than what I've seen in PoP so far.

Awesome, I only beat the the first one and half of the second. I'm glad I can just pick it up and play when I get it. :D
 
So I didn't want to watch too much of that Gamespot footage earlier but as for what I did see, it looked amazing.
