It's been known they're working on PS3 also (via job adverts). There was some talk they'd be collaborating on a title rather than making their own, but I haven't seen anything to confirm that.
Given that this was already known/rumoured before Gamers Day, it's possible the 'leaker' was just echoing that talk rather than actually relaying something from Gamers Day.
I've seen a few screens and I though it looked really good actually. It's a game that takes place in much more open areas so they probably can't make as much detail as they could in SFDM.
Still, it looks good, and the screens are not falsely supersampled.
It probably looks better in motion. BTW I never said Ratchet looked bad. The alpha version of the handicapped boy mini game looked bad but then again it was put together in a month
I'm down in San Diego with some of the other guys at Sony's Gamers Day. I'm not allowed to talk about anything just yet, but we'll have some cool stuff to look forward to on 1UP tomorrow night at midnight (PST). I played some good stuff today.
Apparently, different SCEA reps have separately quoted both 12:01 EST and PST, so we don't know for sure now. It better be EST, cause I'm not staying up 'til 3am.
Indeed. At this point, with 360-to-PS3 games frame rate is all I care about when it comes to impressions and previews.
Memo to journos:
How to properly preview a 360-to-PS3 game.
Template.
[Game name] runs at [value]fps. *
Follow this link [360 version preview URL] for more.
* Avoid using adjectives like "steady" or "solid". There're people out there that think Bioware games run at a solid frame rate, so please give us numerical values thank you very much. A combination of numerical values and adjectives is permitted (ie: "steady 30fps")
Nothing was guaranteed. It was just a suggestion by the op in case something happened so you wouldn't end up kicking yourself.
Warhawk Beta is a closed affair it seems so it doesn't seem like there will be any of that stuff (as that was the most likely candidate).

I don't see what would be smart to give to the small percentage of people that registered there. It's does make much business sense outside beta testing and such things.
Oh well, my PS3 is registered anyways
