So is it safe to assume that the only way to play PSone games on your PSP, is using the PS3 to download the game, then transfer to your PSP?


Or can you download them directly to a Pro Duo on your PSP without the PS3.

360 controllers arent heavy but they dont feel cheap like the PS3 controllers. They feel solid, like ipods. ipods arent heavy but they dont feel cheap.

(Going by my e3 ps3 controller impressions)

2:53 p.m.: Smedley takes the Sixaxis from Harrison and begins the demo. The PlayStation Store hub has a blue background with headers for features items, demos, downloadable games, and "view all." It also has a featured graphic (this one for Resistance), and a couple sidebars with the top downloads and what's new listed.

The downloadable game Blast Factor was highlighted then selected and taken to the store. He proceeded to checkout where there was a wallet and a total. Gamers can either use a credit card or a PlayStation card that can be purchased at retail stores. Parents can set rating limits for downloads to censor material for their children and set allowances in the PS store.

The demo was performed live over the internet to the PS store. This was not a set demo, but actually connected to Sony's online service. The games will be around $14.99 and less. The store also included trailers and will eventually have full movies. The games that are downloaded can be played on up to 5 additional PS3s so you can share with your friends.

Your starting to blow it way out of proportion. Yes it's light, but you hardly notice when your playing. It's kinda the same weight as an N64 controller without the rumble pack.

I played with it at Digital Life as well and it didn't fell too light or cheap. ****, it's not like the DS2 is some kind of hunk of sturdy metal. I can't believe people give a shit about a controller being "too" light.

Harrison then picked up a PSP and wirelessly ran the Casino Royale trailer on the handheld system. Streaming the media on PSP can now be done in your living room but Harrison said that it will soon be possible from any hotspot in the world. Streaming your PS3 content on the PSP anywhere certainly opens some amazing possibilities.

Not discounting your personal opinion, but I don't necessarily associate heft with build quality which seems to be part of the implied criticism here. I've used a number of different game controllers over the years of varying weights and it's never been a problem for control.

What does that mean? If my friend pays for a game I can get it for free?
 
3:09 p.m.: Motorstorm Downloadable Demo will be available on Nov. 17 and that demo is being shown now. Harrison promises daily, weekly, monthly updates to the content availability. Motorstorm, like the 1UP Show has talked about, looks a bit sluggish, but makes up for it with extremely pretty visuals, it actually looks borderline incredible.
 
It seems like the PS3 will have a much more graphically intensive and more eye-candy in the UI as they can use the HDD, while the PS3 can only depend on 4mb internal (flash?) memory.

i just don't see how it would improve the sixaxis if they added enough dead weight to make it feel like other controllers. the weight might create some impression that it's more solidly built, but it wouldn't be more solidly built...it'd just be heavier. i didn't notice the controller's weight when i tried it at e3.
