Actually, I'm running official firmware at the moment. I've been switched back ever since the DNS trick quit working. Gotta get some games of Uncharted in, y'know? I don't think they're going to ban anyone before this point anyhow.

I believe that Sony sent all the accounts stored on one hacked system.

They might be use MAC number blacklist, so whenever if unauthorised found and they use MAC number to match the PSN accounts (no matter how long ago last time to sign in) and send this email warning. Something like that.

Therefore it will stop someone will create another PSN account if they got banned.
But not sure if they will ban your system because it clean, but it is more likely they will ban your PSN account.

There's a portion of people intent on attacking me rather then my argument. I've been avoiding responding to them in public simply because such actions derail threads. We were pretty on topic before KAL2006 decided that private messages should be made public without the consent of both parties.

It's still unknown whether accounts will get banned or not. I wouldn't be surprised to see a short account ban like a week or so.

If you want to be safe, have your friend deactivate your account and remove the user from the system.

It's still unknown whether accounts will get banned or not. I wouldn't be surprised to see a short account ban like a week or so.

If you want to be safe, have your friend deactivate your account and remove the user from the system.

However I doubt accounts will get banned, I think they will take a similar approach to MS, ban systems only, imagine a person who downloaded tons of PSN games got his/her PSN account banned.

No, I don't think there is a tool for that yet. But I would be pissed if they deactivated my purchases. I have a few games on there. Never play them but I purchased them. They're mine.
