I liked the Snickers ad, and that was about it. Pretty poor ones this year, IMO. That game was fun, though.

The commercials this year were pretty much lacking. Wonder if that's a sign that businesses didn't have as much money to spend on marketing - thus signifying a slowdown cometh

i probably laughed the most at the goulet one, and the preview for the new disney movie where the t-rex was talking and saying "my head is too big, and i have little arms" :lol that one looks funny.

other than that, for the most part they weren't that great.

prince was such a badass though. he BEASTED that guitar!

Bad year for commercials.

The one with the car driving along the ledges of buildings & such is for the Ford Edge and has been playing for weeks.

Snickers was funny, Robert Goulet was funny, Blockbuster guinea pig & rabbit torture mouse was funny. Otherwise they were either stupid, boring or just regular commercials (the car & truck ads fit into that). Or they were commercials that we've seen before, like the inside of the Coke machine. Some nice tributes to Dungy & Smith thrown in there.

It was a good game, Prince was very good and surprisingly gracious. Billy Joel looked pissed to be singing out in the rain & obviously did a minimal effort in the performance. The Cirque du Soleil thing before kickoff was bizarre and disturbing.

The best commercials of the night to me went to the Budlight hitchhiker commercial and the one involving rock, paper, scissors.

I've made a couple of jokes and I wasn't serious but that commercial was odd to me. They took the demo that is maybe the least partial to homo-erotic overtones and combined it with a candy bar. Seems like a strange choice. They were probably keenly aware of what they were playing off but still the pic below doesn't make me want to eat spaghetti.

I gotta pick the Blockbuster mouse ad to be my favorite. It was funny and it had incredible CGI (seriously, that was some top notch work on the animals).

Oh and that HD ad for the Disney movie (while stupid) looked f00king incredible on my HDTV.
