They didn't augment the curves of her body, to avoid cries of objectification. They accentuated and highlighted the musculature of her arms, to appeal to the "strong woman" demographic. They gave her a cut on her cheek, to demonstrate that she's tough-pretty; beautiful, but unconcerned with her beauty.
