wow, that looks to be one of the least comfortable of submissions to be in (not that any of them are comfortable). First time I've seen that. He slept quickly.

edit: Yeah, you don't have to be a BJJ practitioner to recognize when a choke is locked in. It should have been obvious that Leben was tapping.

Oh I agree it was a tap, but Leben's whole body convulsed when he went out. On the replay it seemed like the ref was about to pull Rosholt off, but Leben's legs swung around in what looked to be an escape attempt. He backed off and then realized what was actually going on.

Leben tapped twice as opposed to the customary three. Maybe that's why. Still should've stopped it though, Leben wasn't getting out of that.
 
glad this event is turning out to be pretty fun. didn't have a feeling it would go all decisions but the first fight scared me a bit. btw make sure you watch this next fight guys.

lol so which ko was better? the marquardt ko or this one? i hope they give it to these fighters since they broke a record and they need the money more.

this was a prelim fight that aired earlier in the night. guess they needed to fill some time since the past two main event fights ended kinda quick.
