really? his one dimensional style has been exposed the last couple of fights, Shogun has tons of tools, I didn't give Chuck much of a chance.
 
I wish it would have lasted longer, Shogun's cardio wasn't tested. Does Dana force the retirement now? Gotta be hard to keep giving this guy 500k a fight to get his ass beat.

I find it extremely unlikely that Chuck will retire. And the UFC will want to keep him imo so somebody like Strikeforce or Affliction doesn't get a big time name and draw no matter what his skill level is.
 
Chuck did f up his toe earlier today so that did affect his movement but Shogun owned him. Rampage Shogun II!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shogun really didn't impress me and would get killed by the top of the lhw division. He got pressured by Chuck's striking. Chuck is old, has lost his speed, and his chin was destroyed 2 years ago and hung with Shogun up until the knockdown.

Rampage gets winner of the Evans/Machida fight, I think Shogun gets the loser.

If by "hung with Shogun" you mean got picked apart by leg kicks I agree. Chuck was losing before the KO.

Shogun is by no means a prolific striker and I didn't think he would be able to keep Chuck down. He also looked like shit in his last two fights--he looked nothing like he looked like in Pride, which is expected considering his injuries.

I still don't think Shogun will be a top contender in the light heavyweight division, we'll see in his next fight.

Chuck did look slow out there, the guy is damn near 40 you just lose a step by that age. Not only that but it seems like guys have figured out how to beat him because he's so one dimensional.
 
WTF happened to the mma tv stream??? I was watching the event...then when the stann fight came up, the stream just disappeared....and my channel was gone..

Does anyone this Chuck would leave the UFC if they won't let him fight again? He could always take the big Affliction payday by fighting Fedor regardless if he could win the fight or not. Dana pretty much said he's done if he doesn't win, but I don't think Chuck is down with that plan. Knock me the fuck out for 500k all day every day.
