no, it sounds like the cat was recovering. the vet killed the cat, and GAF pushed for the vet.

seriously though, i can remember another situation where GAF called for a guy to take a cat to a vet, the cat died, people joked about how gaf killed the cat and there was a mini discussion about transitive properties.

very weird. :\

Ah yes, but! if he didnt hurt the cat in the first place then none of this would of happened. He is the root of the misshap, therefore he killed his own cat

OP and some first replies. At that point I kinda got pissed he didn't seek for some professional help. But now I'm seeing some posts it died thanks to the vet?

i am hoping it is a joke thread because all of gafs responses made me laugh and have made me feel terrible for laughing at the death of a cat.

Well I've just come into the thread now and have only read the first and last pages, so forgive me for not really seeing it as a practical joke - and a poor one if so.
 
I've been here for almost 2 years now and I still don't get why so many problem threads get posted where simple common sense is the answer 75% of the time.

Meh, I don't really care if anyone believes me or not. If anyone here is from Bahrain, they could check by going to Al-Reem on Janabiya Avenue. The vet is called Ahmed and he's an Egyptian. Ask him if he killed a cat on Monday night and that's pretty much the only way to confirm this.

Sorry for not getting the chance to take pics of my dead kitten.

It wouldn have been almost believable, but pretending going to a vet was bad advice that led to your cat's death took it over the edge.

Assuming you're telling the truth, there's multiple parts of the story that don't make sense. You gave your cat an entire slice of pizza? Is this Ahmed guy an actual veterinarian, has he been trained? Is he into "alternative medicines" and what have you?

Cat ate the cheese off the pizza. He didn't eat the dough.

...and no, I didn't walk around the vet's office looking for certificates if that is what you mean. He gave me some red pills to feed the cat. Once every other day he says. Antoplex Gallos it reads on the back.

It didn't take me too long to realize that posting this stuff on GAF wasn't really the smartest thing to do. I'm not really expecting sensitive posts since I'm just this anonymous guy online, but I've gotta admit I'm pretty annoyed at the immaturity displayed here. The pizza jokes were possibly on page one, but its pretty sad seeing everyone try to one up each other with what they find to be witty.

I appreciate the help from the supportive posters and I sincerely thank them for their time. I've had quite a few up and downs during the past couple of days due to what has happened and there are a lot of thoughts that I'd rather not share with most of you lot since I'd either be an idiot or a sissy or a jerk for expressing my feelings/views.

This should be my last post in this thread. I'm currently feeling like sh** and I hope that getting a good night of sleep will sorta fix things.
