that's how i feel about most of tumblr now

haha welcome to the club

Glad I'm not alone. However this raises a new question - this is tumblr? I thought it was Twitter.

Also can someone legit explain what the OP is about? I'm genuinely interested to know why talking about whip cream in the bedroom and Bieber being daddy as fuck belong in the same chain of tweets. I may be showing my ignorance here by not having any clue what "being daddy AF" really means.

When are people going to realize that nobody really cares about origins of some piece of culture or word that they want to use? Like honestly what do you expect out of people before they are allowed to use the term, daddy?

Stupidest shit I've ever seen, and will actually make people take actual cultural appropriation less seriously.

I feel like it's satire to show how stupid the concept of cultural appropriation is to begin with, in which case I approve.

Shanley gonna Shanley.

Though this might be the most Shanley that Shanley ever did Shanley.

I choose to believe it's performance art.

lol. Calling someone daddy/papi/papa is like the oldest kink during heterosexual sex. What the hell is she talking about?!

Daddy has been associated with straight relationships especially in Spanish ones. I always thought it was kind of creepy especially if there's a big age gap.

I'm not going to comment on the merit of her argument, but I can see what she's doing. She's trying to create a new niche of Foucaultian discursive authority for a group of people who have traditionally had less power than others. And that's fine. I can respect that part of it.

Thought this was gonna be about some dad getting pissed at someone faking having a kid or something.

Amazingly it's even more weird

As much as I enjoy mocking tumblr culture.. what is the point of mocking one person making a fool of herself online? There are thousands every day, idgaf.
