One track that make you get emotional

FFVII - Main Theme

The way this track is built is really masterful. It spends the first minute creating tension, which makes it all the sweeter when it shifts over to the warmer sound at 0:56, leading to the string crescendo at 1:27. It's just beautiful.

I linked to the orchestrated version, which I first heard when Advent Children was being teased. The effect it had on me was intense -- the sudden wave of nostalgia from playing the game mixing with my excited anticipation for the movie.

Aeris's Theme and To Zanarkand are also excellent picks.

Don't think I've ever experienced an emotional moment from a game because of the music... It's always been a secondary aspect of the experience when I'm getting sucked into the action or dramatic tension that I was engrossed in. The music fades mostly.

Final Hours

Pretty much all of the Link's Awakening and PSX era Final Fantasy soundtracks.

Invincible from World of Warcraft. For me, whenever I hear it, all the fantastic times I had playing Wrath of the Lich King come flooding back to me, and then I realise that I can never, ever revisit that except for in my memories. Then I get all emotional.

Runners-up go to Memories of the City from Persona 3 and An End Once And For All from Mass Effect 3. Both of those hit me right in the feels.

Metal Gear Solid - The Best Is Yet To Come

When they reused it in MGS4 with the return to Shadow Moses chapter. Holy shit.
jesus christ, goosebumps. i somehow completely forgot this song. that desire to replay the MGS series sparked by Rising just hit fever pitch for me.

but i came to post this:

metal gear solid 2: theme
specifically this version of the theme. i remember the first time i heard it in the MGS2 teaser trailer, with the shot of Snake running in the rain on the tanker, FAMAS blasting away at unknown enemy forces. i wanted to stand up and cheer! that part at 2:40 where the tempo slows and the snare drum starts softly in the background. the orchestration swells with that patriotic drum march....literal chills.
