Kaz is Sony. What does Kaz actually do at Sony?
Eh, doesn't work like that. The impact of the Kaz version is lessened quite a bit by being a copycat IMO. Meme Rules. Of course, the Kaz version is more appropriate considering Iwata hadn't done shit when his version debuted, just running on fumes from DS/Wii success. Or maybe it was 3DS related? Either way it didn't reflect the state of Nintendo at that time. The Iwata gif isn't an internet meme like the Kaz gif though. And yeah, there was the Iwata variant of that gif doing the rounds first, but the Kaz one represents the very beginning of the craze that this thread is addressing.
I can't remember the name of the gaffer here, but I must have congratulated him three times on this mock-up he made...

Perfection.
Remember the Bone faithful adopting the same corporate hierarchy gif-worship leading up to the May event. yeeeaaaarrr, tbh looking back, kinda cringey.
Dunno if the GIF masters were leaning PS or just the atmosphere on the Xbone side wasnt as conducive to creativity.Remember the Bone faithful adopting the same corporate hierarchy gif-worship leading up to the May event. yeeeaaaarrr, tbh looking back, kinda cringey.
My personal favourite. How can you forget about this one:

I remember being so utterly excited about PS4.
But now I have one, I'm utterly bored. Come on Sony, games please.
Cant believe its been a year. Such a fun time you can't beat a good hype thread.
I made my first GIF for this occasion. Gah I wish Kaz was still front and centre at Playstation.
felt like yesterday. It's only been a year? It feels like it's been a lot longer.
Here:Where's the one where he's about to make love to a woman and then she puts the picture of Reggie down, but Kaz puts it back up?

These other gifs are really great, a lot I haven't seen!
I bet Kaz has these all stored on his hard drive and shows them to his grandchildren.
