So basically O'Reilly is like half of GAF and likes to troll people with controversial topics? There's a devils advocate for everything.

Part of it.

I like to think he is as dense as GAF.

If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound?

Yes, it does.

Check my post above yours.
there are more tactful ways of attracting followers (lulz) then posting signs saying you're religion is a scam or Jesus is a myth.

There are things that cannot be measured or calculated, does that mean they don't exist?
If we're going to get into emotions and stuff, then yeah, from a hard clinical non-romantic scientific point of view emotions are chemical reactions that are capable of being measured and calculated.

If that's not where you were going with that then I honestly am interested in what you were referring to.

so why do you think the moon causes tides? because a book told you....just like the bible.

I watched a whole deal about it explained thoroughly by Scientists thanks to the Universe on the History Channel. That show is pretty awesome.

Nice try though. Your comparison doesn't really hold up.

Why does O'Reilly even have guests on his show? He doesn't even let them talk.

Yes, books written by people CERTIFIED to assert, test and verify such claims. What certification do religious leaders have?

Depends on if it's in a vacuum or not.

Forests are not generally known to be in space without an atmosphere. Or space, period.

The billboards aren't meant for believers.

If they are not meant for believers, what do people do with them? Hang them up in their basement as some inspirational poster?

fine I give up, fuck it be as tasteless as the religious people you despise that will surely make you better than them

I didn't put the sign up. What are you talking about? Are we trying to make people feel all warm and comfy and safe every time we speak our minds?

(Also, seriously use some punctuation. Your posts are incredibly hard to read.)

I'm not.

"Fuck it, we'll do it live!!"

Got no idea what you're rambling about btw Zeke, but keep up the good fight.

Good. You don't change hearts and minds by being kind and neighborly.

If you are Christian, yes. But obviously not many knew that.

When is this guy going to retire and shut up already.

When Fox News decides he is not bringing ratings in. Which is the opposite of what is going on.

don't care about either of their fights just saying there are better ways to go about it instead of saying jesus is a myth or you're religion is sham.

What if God lives in the moon?

What if, like, God is the moon?

Like what? "You think God exists, but that's just like, your opinion, man"?

This is the best theory to support pantheism in years!

You offend me with that opinion. You should keep it to yourself and show some tact!
thats cool I'll just quote George Carlin here and bail this thread "I have a right to my opinion and my opinion is you have no right to you're opinion."

If someone thinks Jesus is a myth, what is a better way to express that on a billboard than stating "Jesus is a myth"? How is it different from signs telling that Jesus is our savior?

I don't quite understand what you're saying here. Care putting that in a sign?

Well Jesus might not be a myth, but his super-natural powers sure were, and plenty of religions really are sham but don't forget, whatever flavour of religion you decide to follow is just your personal preference, much like your political party, sporting team or favourite band and there's no logical reason that it should be given any more respect than any other of your personal preferences that you choose to make public knowledge.

There's a church near me with a big sign out the front that says, "No God, No life. Know God, Know life." It makes me chuckle, it doesn't bother me, so I don't know why everyone freaks out whenever they see something similar from a different team.

since O'Reilly is falling behind Glenn Beck and Hannity in popularity, his new tactic is to be a religious fundamentalist to bring in the ratings? good luck with that Bill.
