Original Doom Now Runs in Unity Engine's Editor
Proving the original Doom can be run on just about anything, someone manages to get the iconic id Software FPS to run in Unity's editor.

Reddit user xabblll is one of the latest fans to prove the versatility of the influential shooter by actually making Doom run inside the Unity editor. A brief clip shows them accessing the Inspector function of the software and going to "Add Component." They then boot the game up without having to alt-tab or exit out of Unity. It even comes complete with sound. The user has also posted a link to GitHub for anyone who wants to install the game for themselves. In the post, xabblll says+ they went ahead with this port simply because "no one did it," but also because they wanted to learn how to execute "complex stuff" within Inspector.
