Most have the sense to not do it on TV. Can't really blame the organization if they don't want to be associated with him.

Physically assaulting someone on a college campus is a crime.
This kid wasn't a threat to him. He wasn't coming after him. You can't take the law into your own hands. Guy should be fired immediately.

Players don't do it often, but there's a bunch of great videos of football players decking some drunk idiot who runs onto the field.

No. Not really.

College tailgates are way crazier than the NFL. The NFL is so strict about drinking, you get tossed from games and lose your season tickets if somebody accuses you of being "drunk." Alot of the total drunks at college games also live on campus so there's nothing stopping them. And because beers aren't served at NCAA events, people go hard in the parking lot.

Only thing to rival NCAA tailgates that I've seen is NASCAR. Now... that is a party.

Scholarships are usually pulled for one of two reasons. Academic performance and student conduct violations.

He committed a violation in an extremely public manner. So I'm not shocked a review board either at the school or scholarship committee level made this decision.

Sure I'm fine with him losing a scholarship. Dude was saying he should be kicked out of school though. That's ridiculous for a one time while you're being a drunk idiot thing. No one was hurt.
