All this thread proves to me is how much power perception has over people's opinions of a person. You don't have to know much of anything about a person to form a complete image of them in your mind and pass judgement.

While your avatar and username are a reflection of your personality to a degree, it only reveals a small portion of the much larger picture. More to the point, how do you know that someone is not deliberately leading you to believe certain things about their personality with the image they have created on these forums?
