Do the white controllers work with US PS3s?

I personally think it's the only one, aside from black, that doesn't look tacky.

White is pure sex, yeah. But don't forget about the metallic grey....still the one to beat.

Ye, they might look alittle like cheap toys, especially the red controller in my opinion. But the controllers probably feels just as sturdy as any other DS3 PS3 controller at least But ye, the looks of the controllers also matters, i agree

I like the look of the red one, but as mentioned, white takes the cake.

I like the look of the blue one, but the red reminds me of orange plastic toy guns you buy in corner shops.

A ps3 in that blue would be rather nice too.

I think I'll stick with my two White DS3's (still Japan only...SCEA will never learn) and default black DS3...doubt red or blue will look better. But may pick one up.

EDIT: Just looked at the pic of the red/blue ones, they are way too "bright" in color and look quite corny. I'm sure children and girls will like these toy colors though.
Always was a fan of black/white controllers myself. Well, I was partial to the solid blue N64 controller (not the clear blue launched years later with the other cheesy looking "clear" N64/controllers). Although the default gray was best to me and most iconic. :lol

Yes, it would be interesting to see a piano black "glossy" controller instead of the traditional matte...but people who use their DS3's too much like me already have a shiny "piano black" controllers, from all the sweat and heavy use. :lol

Why can't Sony be consistent on their own made up color names?

This is the "deep red" PSP:

looks much better compared to the "deep red" they seem to have used for the DS3. I would actually pick up one if it was in this shade of red. Won't buy one of those ugly things from the previous page.
