Frustration, by Grady Zeeman.
I always thought they were more anatomical than anything. He seems pretty chilled out from what I've seen in interviews.itxaka said:Anger? He was a fucking psycho going by his paintings.

The tiny and cramped nature of Bacon's London studio and apartment were subjected to some critical analysis in an article in The Guardian by Aida Edemariam. She claims Bacon being frequently locked screaming for hours in a cupboard as a young boy, by a nanny, formed the basis of his preference for working in cramped conditions and his unwillingness to work on a larger scale. The article states: "That cupboard," Bacon apparently said years later, "was the making of me.

PantherLotus said:Weird. Anger must be hard to paint, because only the fuuuu.gif looks remotely mad. The other things paint mad moments and people that you or I should be mad at (guernica), but not true anger.
I don't feel any frustration in this painting, it's so.. well, boring.subzero9285 said:Frustration, by Grady Zeeman.

Umm... that's 2 different artists.Witchfinder General said:This is all personal and up to the individual but her art is terrible, almost devoid of talent and incredibly derivative.

Agreed, they are not good, they were just the first relevant google image results.Witchfinder General said:I looked at the first link. The example posted for the second artist is as bad if not worse.
Chaotic, coarse yellow and red brush strokes for anger. Fluid, spindly blue streaks for sadness.
Brilliant!

Wow, fuck you too.Witchfinder General said:Then try a little harder next time and procure artworks with a modicum of skill and relevancy rather than vapidly trying to post in a thread for no reason other than boredom.
Thought I was doing that.justjohn said:I've been trying to google this without much sucess. can you guys post paintings that depict anger or frustration as its theme?
