It's gonna be out in five days. It probably helped. There was no major release this week (SP swastika edition got delayed) and 70% of the top ten were sold for 17€ each at the biggest games retailer (probably on amazon.de too).

Was at MediaMarkt today, but didn't see a Titan Fall bundle. Don't know if they already were sold out, but I guess they didn't order that much. My local MM is selling the One now for 489.- including a 2nd controller.

Look like Europe is still reeling from PS4 shortages.. 6 - 8 titles used to be in Germany, now only 2. Scandanivians charts also used to get 3 - 4 titles of PS4 but now only 1 - 2. UK also has fewer PS4 titles..

So how long should we expect it to last.? i thought PS4 will be back in good quantities in Europe at the start of March.. Look like Sony has given preference to USA over Europe yet again

Titanfall is comfortably this week’s UK No.1, and boost Xbox One hardware sales by almost 100 per cent.

70 per cent of all Xbox One consoles sold last week came bundled with Titanfall, Chart-Track says.

Titanfall is EA’s first No.1 that isn’t a FIFA game for over a year. The last non-FIFA EA game to top the charts was Crysis 3 back in the first week of March last year.

It means the team at Bandai Namco had to settle for No.2 with its cult RPG Dark Souls II, which saw a launch sales improvement of 20 per cent over the original.

It also means EA now hold the two leading No1 titles by sales for the year. Titanfall more than doubles the sales of what had been 2014’s current leader FIFA 14, which until now had delivered the highest sales for an All Formats No1 back in Week 1 of this year. Titanfall also gives a collossal boost to Xbox One hardware sales with a huge jump of over 96% thanks largely to the new Titanfall bundle (including a download token of the game) accounting for over 70% of all Xbox One hardware sold this week. The new IP is a welcome sight with EA’s last No1 title that wasn’t a FIFA stretching back more than a year when Crysis 3 held the crown in the first week of March 2013.

There’s a debut for Bandai Namco’s ‘Dark Souls II’ which has to settle for No2 in its first week. The sequel to the original Dark Souls which was released in Week 40 2011 sees a 20% increase in week 1 sales over its predecessor while also debuting one position higher. The arrival of two new Top 10 titles means that ‘South Park: The Stick of Truth’ (-47%) is pushed down to No3 following its arrival last week. ‘The Lego Movie’ (-31%) holds its spot at No4 while Square Enix’s ‘Thief’ (-63%) slips three places to No5. ‘FIFA 14’ (-31%) which had never been out of the Top 5 since its launch last year finds itself at No6 this week ahead of ‘Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare’ (-41%) at No7. ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (-18%) is down two more places slipping to No8 ahead of Microsoft’s ‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ (-9%) at No9. ‘Battlefield 4’ (-29%) is at No10, which makes it four Top 10 titles for EA in the All Formats chart this week.

Outside the Top 10 there is a return for Yoshi in Nintendo’s ‘Yoshi’s New Island’ arriving for 3DS at No12. It’s the third biggest week 1 for a Yoshi title behind ‘Yoshi’s Island DS’ and ‘Yoshi’s Story 64’.

I find it weird that Germany has no PS4 stuff? TBH Germany is really heavy PC oriented in my experience... maybe X1 and PS4 leaves them a bit cold atm.

Is there a point to porting it? It's not a game that really strikes me as benefitting from a visual upgrade...

Maybe that's the point. You can make a rather "cheap" next gen port and can say "hey, that's the southpark look" and don't have to beef up the graphics that much as a dev. Ppl with only XB1/PS4 would still buy it.

It being bundled and the price cut no doubt helped. Will it sustain this over a period of time? That I'm not so sure of, especially with the 360 version coming out soon.
