PAL Charts - Week 3, 2011

Only had enough Christmas cash for one game, and deciding between Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 was ridiculously tough. In the end I went with Mass Effect, because LittleBigPlanet 2 just gets better and better the longer you wait (in particular I want to see the Move controls patch in place) and I can't play Dead Space 2 during my usual 10PM to midnight gaming sesion (too full of scare adrenaline to sleep afterwards!).

Absolutely loving Mass Effect 2, so didn't make a bad choice... but then, I don't think that any of them are a bad choice! I might pay out a little extra for Dead Space Extraction off the PSN. I hear that the version included on the PS3 Dead Space 2 disk requires the disk to be in so that you can play it, and I'd rather just have my Move games on the hard drive whenever possible.

I think ME2 is doing pretty damn good for a late port.

Indeed. Would be interesting to compare it's sales against those for the late port of Bioshock (granted, PS3 install base is much larger at this point).

There was a statewide deal at german Saturn (one of the biggest electronic retailer) with 3 games for 50€. Selection was pretty good. It was also for 360 and PC games so i am suprised that no PC game made the Top10 (PC is still strong in germany).
