Here is an idea.
Ignore them and you contribute to the discussion.
OT: I reckon she would be a primarily a magic user like Zelda right ?
Her trailer has her moveset, so I'm not sure why you're asking if she's a magic user.
From those move sets, Palutena is going to be my main.
She has everything covered.
Quick wall/counter for melee and range, fast medium/long range combat, AOE abilities, offensive/defensive teleport to escape/closing gap, fricken fly too?
What is her weakness? The quick clip just shows how broken she is.
PS: I would love to watch a Link or Kid Icarus anime.
She can only have four abilities when you use her - you don't get all of that at once!
4) Okay here's my argument. I am a huge Zelda fan. Now needless to say I am really excited for the Hyrule Warriors. Fast Forward to when the Japanese website was opened, and a bunch of new info came out along with new characters etc. Everything looked pretty cool except for the villain of what I'm guess will be 1/2 - 3/4 of the game. I then looked at the thread about the new info:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=823315&highlight=hyrule+warriors and after seeing the replies, I felt like I didn't belong. A series I had been playing for almost 2 decades was telling me that I'm not wanted any more just because I'm a woman.
The same thing is happening here. I love the Smash series but this trailer told me that I'm not wanted.
If you interpret men saying they desire women as an intonation that you, a woman, is not wanted, I don't know what to tell you. If anything, it should be somewhat empowering when taken in the proper context. When I see a trailer showing off manly strength, or manly sexiness, my first thought is not to feel unwanted.
It's also important to note that you are once again shifting your argument entirely, as well. Initially, you discussed the actions of those viewing the trailer (posters). Then, you moved the discussion to the intentions of the creators. Now, you are talking about the feelings you had through your own perception of the trailer. I think it would be worthwhile for you to figure out which of these three (or maybe a fourth you haven't brought up yet)
really bothers you, and stick to it. Also, what you provided is a statement of why this is a problem
for you, which is different from this being a general "problem". Regardless, I am done for the night. May you feel better about this scenario.
Her normals don't seem to have much range, which is a bad seeing as she has a large hitbox.
On the topic of the anime, you can watch it on your 3DS. There are youtube uploads but they're all awfully low res.
The wing spread we see at the start has some huge range. She also controls space with her specials very well. If that vertical light pillar reminiscent of Captain Corridor is a base move, she basically has a significantly stronger version of Pikachu's Thunder.
