Eshop? Zero interest in physical releases for Switch unless it's a game I don't need to have readily available digitally/file size is too big to deal with.
This has been a pretty good year or two now with these releases, including the M.2 stuff. I've gotten the other Cotton games released so far and they've been great, looking forward to picking these up when they release. Gotta love a good Cute 'em up.
The only thing I really know about Cotton is that the PC-Engine port of the original game had a killer soundtrack.
I used to own the Super Famicom cartridge of Cotton 100%. Great condition, with CD and all. I think I played it exactly once. But now I'd be down to playing these rereleases, they're just a bit too expensive so I'll wait for a sale. BTW, Cotton 100% also has some very good music.
There is also this release. You can get it on Play Asia. It had input lag, but I bought it anyway. The developers said they were looking into patching it.
Considering what the various companies involved felt was an acceptable amount of lag in the Saturn collection, one worries the physical aspect of these releases is merely a cash grab, targeting those collecting for the sake of collecting. Assuming the ports get decent word-of-mouth, I'll wait to see if an eventual, physical JP collection emerges.
