Patapon 3 - Screens + PR (E3 2010)

Finally got around to playing the MP demo, awesome awesome awesome. This very well could be my PSP GotY, was deathly addicted to the previous two and everything in that small teaser of a demo was great.

They should port these games to the PS3. And LocoRoco. Money for old rope.

There is a large contigency of people who say that all the PSP's library contains are console-like experiences. Why would you port the two few PSP exclusive franchises you have? It's kind of like asking for Killzone 3 to be on PSP.

Sorry for the bump, but anyone have any idea when this is being released? Amazon has it listed as a March release now, but GameStop still says early November. It seems like it was delayed in Europe, but I can't find any official word on a US delay. It's kind of annoying it's potentially being released in a week but there's been no word from SCEA about whether it's being released or if it's been delayed for the US as well.

EDIT: I assume it has been delayed, but it bothers me that I just have to wait till the first/second to see if it actually gets released to know for sure. Say something Sony.

Because

A) If it can be sold on the PS3 why not allow PS3 owners to buy it and play it on a console?

B) If you look at sales of the PSP and PS3 in Japan they are the two highest selling consoles so why not expose your game to the home console market? It would be hitting 2 birds with one stone.

C) PS3 can handle PSP games. There should be an add on or a digital emulator for the PS3 just like Nintendo did with the GBA Player. I am sure publishers like Konami would love to have seen MGS PW sales if it were made available for PS3 owners to play.

D) Patapon would get great exposure on the PS3 and comparing it to Killzone 3 is a joke since PSP wouldn't be able to handle it in the first place.

I am certainly for reasoning C but all else is bad for PSP business and they need to hold both strong. The PSP needs games like Patapon and Peace Walker to be relevant, the PS3 doesn't. The best solution is already in working now with the Diva PSP game, you can hook your PSP up to your PS3 and play a high res version of the game.

All your solution will do is slow down PSP sales in favor of non PSP owning PS3 owners, and as a owner of both I don't see why the PS3 users would need this aside from some extra reason not to buy a real PSP.

I got it a couple of weeks ago (thanks, Subway), and it's a lot of fun, but I'm slightly confused. Am I supposed to replay levels over and over again to the point where it ceases to be fun so I can get the necessary items for levelling up the units? The grinding is so slow I wonder whether I'm doing something wrong.

Got Patapon 3 or Patapon 2?

im curious....is this just a PSP phenomenon, or do people also bitch in DS game threads that they "wished XYZ DS game was ported to wii"?
