1 giant download with all the bonk games. /woohoo!Corran Horn said:Give me all the Bonks games and Ill be happy. I should play my turbografx some more.

But if Sony worked on PC Engine emulation, and is available just right now, would that confirm in a way that they are working on PS2 BC?
Kobun Heat said:A lot.
The two would have absolutely no connection whatsoever.
There's nothing iffy about it - initiative to sell classics or remakes(any classics) online has been there since before PS3 launched.JeFfRey said:Of course it goes into their distribution strategy, but still, it's iffy.
A lot easier actually - but would Sega go for it?Hypecube said:Note: I actually think a PS3 Dreamcast emulator would be easier to pull of then PS2 emulation for the PS3

*Don't really care that much. Just like trying cumbersome extra long game titles.

cryptic said:Imagine a sony and sega joint effort to release a dreamcast emulator exclusively for ps3 with the ability to plug in your old dreamcast controllers and even use vmus. Also, shenmue 3 download using the dreamcast engine.
Tellaerin said:I'd settle for a Dreamcast emulator with 100% (or close to 100%) compatibility. Instead of an adapter to plug in old Dreamcast controllers and VMU's, I'd like to see a PSP Go app that would work with the emulator, letting you use the Go as a combined DC controller and VMU. That way, you could play any of the VMU minigames on the Go, or play DC games that used the screen by using the Go as a wireless controller (via bluetooth). (The lack of analog triggers on the PSP might be an issue for some games, but it would still be a nice option regardless.)

Did you try 'em on the PSP-3K yet?Torgo said:Well, I grabbed the 3 relevant games last night.
The emulation is perfect. No frontends, no filters, just awesome.
You also get 5 save-states, which is totally sweet for keeping High Scores in Devil's Crush (Crash)
The sound is well done and doesn't have a "tinny" effect. Control is great, and the visuals are spot-on without flicker.
PLEASE Hudson, PLEASE do this in North America!!!!!!!!
ChryZ said:Torgo, how is the upscaling on PS3? Mushy or eye-bleeding sharp? Is there an option for 1:1 original res with black boarder box on PSP?
jaydogg691 said:This is what I wished Sega would do when they brought Genesis games to PSN. I would have bought all the Sonic games just so I can play them on the on my PSP.
Which means CD/SCD/ACD support, yummy.Torgo said:OK, I did some more digging. This is the same emulator they used on the 2 PSP PC Engine Collections. This is a VERY GOOD THING.
Kobun Heat said:Which was, of course, total horseshit intended to distract people from the fact that it was actually only happening on Wii.
Then again, I'm interested to see somebody finally actually competing with Nintendo on this model, especially considering that Sony said in 2007 that they weren't interested.
That's because the Genesis games were developed by Backbone, one of the laziest, shittiest, most mediocre developers in the world right now. There are people out there making Dora the Explorer and Spongebob games that have more drive and pride in their product than Backbone does.Torgo said:In my opinion, these are better renditions of the original game than the Genesis games that have been released so far. I do like Gunstar Heroes on PSN though, even IF the online doesn't work AT ALL (Thanks for nothing Backbone)
Wow. SDF is getting desperate.OldJadedGamer said:But with the VC you cannot buy 600 points, you can only buy 500 or 1000 so if you want a PC Engine game on the VC the minimum you can pay is 1000. On PSN, since they are already over the minimum of $5 you just pay the exact amount... making them cheaper on PSN![]()

Oh, sorry. It did sound genuinely like something you'd hear on GAF normally though. :lolUntoldDreams said:Calling OldJadedGamer an SDF member is not factually accurate princess...

I did not setup an Entropay account before and apparently it won't work now.
I am not happy about places charging me $50 for an equivalent $30 japanese yen card.
Anyone? Speevy? Torgo? How are you guys handling this?
