Never ever denied that at all, I'm just saying that more games is definitely not a bad thing since many of the early adopters for new consoles on the market are hardcore gamers who are heavily enticed and influenced by the games that are shown.

lol no. that's too high of an expectation that sony won't ever reach. i rather than sprinkle some information out. just use E3 to dump the console reveal, price, and release date.

Hope we'll see a bunch of new Kaz/Cerny gifs like this while we wait for the next PS4 event, be it E3 or sometime earlier. They brighten up my days.
With Drive Club announced, I'm hoping PD skips the next gran turismo for PS4 and announces the next Tourist Trophy instead.

Interesting timing if true, but it would be a good way to engage a larger audience it what has already been a very nice wave of positive press. Still would be surprised if they announced price before E3.

They need to announce free online play. I think that announcing paid online play is the only way they can undo all the positivity they have been buliding up. If they state categorically basic online is free they will have won me over.

- Letting Microsoft get the jump on them this gen. was a big mistake
- They want to beat Microsoft to the punch as often as possible
- They want to show that they have learned from past mistakes
When you factor the above, it makes perfect sense for a April / May even prior to E3 that shows off the CONSOLE as well as the RELEASE DATE and PRICE. They will then, in turn, beat MS to the punch again. This will also allow them to focus on GAMES at E3.
While MS is droning on about specs, Kinect 2, price, what the console looks like, and all of its services that most gamers might not care about, SONY will be showing game after game and probably dropping a few MEGATON level announcements throughout.
Makes perfect sense to me.

I dunno. Sony seems to be doing just that. They already had a conference in March now another around the same month as the next Box reveal? Coincidence or is Kaz spazzing out? LOL. We shall see.
