400 more views and they would have fucked, I'm disappointed in you guys!
(but lol that they were banned when they wanted to shut it off but couldn't find the remote/controller :p edit: or did she find it, video was gone but audio still going )

There are some other interesting streams it seems, 5 black people and one blond girl, I think I watched such a video before...

Yea. They weren't banned. Girl found her controller under her mess of a room. You saw the video go out before the audio because of the 30 second delay Twitch now imposes on all streams (there was a big thread on this a week or two ago). They will be back tomorrow and have been doing this for a week or more. Again, I was banned and they are not. Sounds fair. I've seen both of them naked so many times I can commit it to memory.

And yes they were about to fuck. He already finger banged her, pulled out, and sniffed his hands. Stay classy stream.

Honestly I just wish Sony would patch Playroom to cut streaming. We have real porn if we really want it. This shit is just going to promote stupidity and give kids an eyeful. Or something real fuckin had will happen like a suicide and PlayStation and gaming in General will get dragged through the mud on the news.

If I were a parent and I could choose between my kids seeing these streams or watching japanese girls funneling piss into their assholes on any porn streaming site, I'd choose this.

If people can have sex under a blanket live streaming at 8am-9am in the morning when little Johnny is going to want to play videogames the most and still not get banned (I saw this happen personally, their channel is called S&S- something and they are STILL around and not banned) then nothing is going to stop this rain.

Stupid argument. Playroom is not even a game, there's nothing to stream. Show me where we'd be missing out if this lost streaming ability. There's not a single fucking Playroom stream worth a shit. The ps4 streams are for gaming, not half-assed exhibitionism. Take that where it belongs.

How is anything you listed any less possible on any random browser that you can watch a random stream from? All "Live from playstation" does is make it conveniently accessable to view and stream gameplay. It would also be dumb to remove such a huge feature when the competition is about to add the same function.

Edit: spoke too soon, thought you meant the streaming feature all together. Still, my point stands. People could still stream playroom on the PC. And it's not like playroom is the first streaming tech on the planet. Any of these people can go out and buy a camera for 1/4th of the price of the PSeye and stream whatever the fuck they want where ever they want. I dont understand why playroom makes any of these activities you listed any more or less likely than a person with regular pc/laptop/webcam/browser access

I specifically said Playroom. I said nothing about removing streaming from ps4 altogether. Read the post before you reply.

Just read the argument that's been going on for the past few posts. To the guy who wants Playroom to be patched to block streaming; what will stop someone from using any other game and displaying the webcam in the top corner and doing the exact same thing?

That or, let's say they're playing a game, they decide to pause the game and just talk on the webcam for hours on end, will you start blocking all games?

Can sub accounts (for those that are under 18) watch streams? Because then Sony would have the excuse that minors wouldn't be exposed to hot naked redheads (officially).

Aren't you suppose to be an adult to have a psn online account? Or have parent permission? Everyone want to blame others for stuff kids should be monitored with or have no access to. who cares what people broadcast. hBo and cynamax show fake porn at night.

Its gonna be interesting to see how long it takes for Ustream and Twitch to start shutting these streams down now that ads are running on the PS4 app. There were two streams tonight where women were naked, a third with a woman teasing to go naked and about a half dozen other streams advertising nudity and none of them were shut down. And the top two streams forced you to watch a 15 second commercial before loading the stream.

Looks like there's competition building with Playroom nudies. This is gonna escalate quickly.

Also, some couple was dissing the air hockey stream last night, and sounded salty as fuck.

Greatness is here!

No.. The stupid argument is that the playroom should be censored. Lets prepare our children by lying to them about the world shall we? Great idea! At some point society needs to realise that people mature though their experiences, they don't mature via a lack of experience.

Have my Vita while out of town this weekend and tried to remote connect to ps4 to get in on the lunacy. No dice...need more war stories and screen caps lol.

But I am of the camp that sees bad things ahead for what Playroom streaming can enable. People these days...

I'm going to guess you're either a teenager or a very young adult. There is a time and place for everything. The PS4 is no place for porn. It's just not. Sheltering kids from porn isn't doing them a disservice, it's responsible parenting. You're out of your fucking mind if you think an 8 year old needs to have access to streams like this and that it wouldn't have potential to give them all kinds of unhealthy perceptions of sex and relationships.

PS4 is for gaming. You wouldn't argue that guns need to be sold at Toys R Us would you? We have gun shops for that and guns are not toys, just as porn is not part of gaming. At least not usually and if it is, ID's need to be checked at point of purchase and again, responsible parents will keep that shit out of their young kids' hands.

But hey, I'm just some irrational lunatic trying to take away your rights, aren't I? I couldn't possibly know what I'm talking g about so let's all hope that tomorrow the air hockey couple does a big old money shot right into the camera at 8am. I mean it's their Kaz-given right!

I'm not arguing in favor of showing kids porn at all. However, I think censoring the playroom footage is akin to "kids might hear swear words online." You basically either allow freedom or you don't. It's going to be near impossible to censor. I'm not a fan of the porn shows, drug usage, etc either.

However, I think it's clear that games are for more than kids at this point. Gaming is far less "Toys R Us" and more anything between nickelodeon and HBO at this point. It's a wide audience and a multimedia device is about giving options to that wide audience. A console isn't just for kids anymore.

I think the solution is to allow the Playstation Live to be locked or password protected. Even if they don't allow porn, where do they draw the lines? And is it really appropriate for children to see drug use, girls dancing around in bikinis, guys mooning the camera?

In the end, I say just password protect it or allow some sort of parental lock.

My sentiments exactly. This stuff sounds like a bunch of freak shows going on and it's guaranteed that little kids everywhere who got PS4s over the holidays are sitting there watching this shit outside of their parent's knowledge. I'm truly surprised it's still going on.

I do think it's only a matter of time before something leaks and the press jumps on this. Probably better to nip it in the bud whatever the solution is. And I think the Playroom stream is just asking for problems and I don't think it really contributes much.

However, part of the problem about giving kids unrestricted access to a console that goes online is not good parenting. There's a web browser as well and you can hear all sorts of stuff in voice chat as well. To me, it seems like if you're giving a kid a console with internet access you either need to be aware of the potential hazards and monitor it, or not give them internet access.

Again, I don't have kids, so I don't pretend to know. I guess, I just wonder how this is to truly be avoided overall as consoles become more online and more connected.

Man, did anyone else see that fat American kid making prank phone calls using this? I tuned in and he's sitting cross-legged in his bedroom, asking viewers for phone numbers for him to call and screw around with. So people are giving him ex-GF phone numbers (coping mechanism for them, I guess), random numbers in their town, their boss's numbers etc. He sits there calling them up, and just cussing the shit out of them, basically saying "I fucked yo mama" "you suck dick" type stuff and a million variations thereof. He had a good 150+ viewers, but it wasn't funny in the slightest, it was actually just really angering. Clearly thought he was a right little fucking badass. I've never wanted a kid to get his comeuppance so bad, I wanted his mom to suddenly come in with the cops and give him a long talk, all on camera or something whilst he wept like a little girl. Fuck.

"we're not going to make it, are we? People, I mean?" [/Terminator 2]

You know I forget this even exists on the UI of the ps4, Generally I power on the ps4, Then either click Warframe or whatever disk is in. I even forget about the share button being there and the fact I can watch streams from other ps4 players. lol

This is a pretty lame argument that I would expect to hear from a self-professed teenage intellectual. Why exactly does a child need to watch adults act stupid and irresponsible with sexuality on the Internet?

You do realize that 3 - 5 year old's are now getting Tablets with full access to the internet & app stores & they brows youtube & watch that Gummy Bear video & other videos like that all on their own these tablets are a lot more accessible to kids than a PS4 & they could easily wonder into the crazy part of the internet but chances are if they see something like that at this age they will turn away from it & if they are not turning away from it they are the types that would have found it anyway & will find it regardless if it's on the PlayRoom.

Or cut streaming from Playroom only. Problem solved.

*thx, ironcreed. :)

I don't see how this isn't the most obvious thing to do? If people want to have their own little net show by a camera and go to youtube like the rest of the world.

Just had to jump into this thread to applaud this post.

I remember a thread about a month ago about at a movie theater at Disney, where they showed softcore porn on screen as a preview accidentally (iirc). The whole thread was wild with people saying that if they were there, they would let their kids look at it and not be mad that it happened. I really don't care whether a kid is looking at boobs, or full on intercourse. I don't want them to be exposed to that yet. Especially if I have no control over it whatsoever. I have control whether my kid plays COD and hears cursing and see blood, I have control if my kids plays GTAV and is exposed to all the crime, and I'm in control over if my kid watches Joel bash someone's head against a desk in TLOU. I don't have control over whether my kid wanders over somewhere I'm unaware of like its the internet (I don't have a kid, just using an example).

I think at the slightest PS should make some kind of 18+ restriction for The Playroom videos only. While people shouldn't be doing this kind of stuff on Playroom anyways, it should be a precaution just in case someone does. Like I said earlier, I literally clicked on Live on PlayStation, and the first video was boobs on the preview. I should not be one click away from boobs on a gaming console, unless I go out my way to see it like going on the browser or some kind of app.

This is the only way I can see this being fixed unless Twitch starts having more mods around midnight, or shutting Playroom streaming down altogether.

You're right. Clearly the answer is to stop trying and lay down our arms and just let the air hockey couple teach my kids about drunken idiocy porn. Again, ps4 is not the place for it. Keep it to the spank sites where it belongs. I don't give a shit if the browser still brings up porn, there's just no need to have it right there, plain as day in the "game streams" section.

This thread pisses me off. I'm out.

I watched a couple streams, and they're mostly the same thing, idiots acting like idiots because they discovered an easy no hassle streaming method.

Far from entertaining.

A big part of the problem is parents are not going to suspect that the game console they bought their kid at Christmas is going to give little Timmy access to live, interactive porn at literally the touch of a button. Even the kid might not be aware of what he's wondering into. That's why it needs to be blocked. It's not what playroom was built for, it's not what the product is marketed as. There's no indication that that's what you're about to see.

I absolutely agree with the overall sentiments that Moofers is espousing. I do think your language, Moofers, is a bit overly aggressive and incendiary. However, I think you are right that just saying, "kids will see what they will see." Is not a solution.

That said, does Playroom Live work without a PSN account? If it doesn't then wouldn't you have to buy a kid a PSN account (or let him/her use yours)?

I guess at that point you're knowingly giving them access to a web browser and whatever people say/do on online games. Doesn't all of that run a similar risk? Maybe it's not one-to-one, but it seems likely.

I think if they just added a parental lock to Playstation Live and then also gave a warning saying "content may be adult in nature" when you click on it would be a good step. I guess I just can't see how else to avoid it if we are going to allow videos with games and video commentary. As long as you have cameras you run that risk.

But little Timmy is allow to have a PSN account where he can buy items with a credit card, can chat with strangers online, etc?

I do agree though, Sony should probably pull the plug on it until they can find a better route. They run the risk of some major issues.
