Your tortie cat is certainly not ugly. It might end up with a lot of sass due to tortietude but that style of cat is full of character. Mine plays catch, growls at noises, hunts bugs, lies on my stomach on command. She's a good cat. Congrats. Train her well.

That kitty looks cute as hell!! Had one which looked a lot like it named sparky. Unfortunatly she died when she was 2 just couple months after her sister banchy because of heart failure. Both had same heart problem

People saying she is cute are prolly cat lovers who refuse to call any cat ugly, and they're right, sort of, i think there is a misconception between having apeal and being cute, your cat has appeal because it doesn't look traditionally cute, like pugs, your cat is ugly to the point of endearment, and that appeal in it self could be vaguely described as "cute".
