Don't know. Either way, that's the idea. Otherwise why would they do this? Obviously they won't announce that it's also coming to PS5 at their Xbox showcase, but why prevent the publisher from announcing it unless it's meant to deceive potential customers?

Trailers on the platform's youtube channels also exclude the competitor's logos at the end, so if you tend towards one brand in your internet journeys you might get the impression all games are only on your preferred platform.
It might not make a huge difference overall, but in some cases like associating CoD with PS, it might be a quite big influence for some. And i guess especially in the case of MP games just one person going with one brand and dragging everyone after him is very important.

You're comparing permanent marketing deals that will have effect throughout the whole life cycle of the game/product possibly covering some exclusive contents as well with a 2 days thing over a platform logo.

They definitely do something. Playstation's social media dwarf Xbox's, so these embargoes make sure people know that these games are coming to Xbox too.

Persona 3 will come to Nintendo Switch.

Just take it as rumor.

With my experience as a Gamer, I think that if it comes to Switch, it can run Persona 5 AND 4... Why not Persona 3 if it uses the same Engine.
