Thanks for the impressions, Dantis. New battle song sounds cool, but Idk if it's better than Reach Out to the Truth. I guess I can wait a while since there isn't that much new content and I beat the game again a few months ago. Sucks that they didn't do a big change up like the female protagonist or the Answer.

I know. I loved the FeMC route. Would have much preferred that as an addition.

I actually really like the new battle theme, much more than the old P4 one.

I dunno. I like the change they made where they kept the old theme, but made it only for certain battles. (advantage battles, right?) Reach Out To The Truth was enjoyable, but it was, I guess I would say, too energetic. It was a song that wore on me very quickly when it would play every single battle.

The new song is a little less in your face. Me gusta.

Mhmm. I didn't like the new additions at all, but it was still a great game for me due to the strengths of the original game. Any excuse to play through P4 again. It just wasn't nearly as great as I'd hoped.

Understandable, especially if you played Persona 3 Portable, which had fantastic new content with the FemMC route. Going from that to the paltry offerings of P4 Golden's extra content would result in some bad disappointment. Luckily my expectations have been tempered going into this, so I won't feel the disappointment quite as badly.

id rather have a more sinister new song that fits gettin your crap spanked than a song from the game before that doesn't fit the tone of this new one, just sayin lol....Though if Rise got the ability to MP3 like Fuuka did, I wouldn't mind some p1/2/3 songs creeping in there

Nah, you still have the chance that your party might be horribly weak against a particular boss, adn you can still lose hours of exploration due to mistiming a swing to initiate combat (and thus getting housed in 1 round of pure bad luck.) Still they aren't up to Nocturne or SJ levels of hell. And they are probably harder than average. After playing through p3p recently I've come to the conclusion that the 1 more system is kinda broken overall, but still a lot of fun.

The easiest SMT games get in my opinion is P2 Innocent Sin, that game is laughably easy. Zio+Tackle = Laugh your way through the game.

Try that on the PS1 version against Great Father and tell me how that goes. The PSP IS was whacked with the nerf bat.

Still, it is by a mile the easiest Persona(not the easiest SMT, that's Raidou 1), but the final boss is the spike from hell, originally.

See, but for me its the difference between emulated at some horrifyingly high res vs. the Vita.

I'm sure the OLED will make it look great, but at this point looks aren't the issue, its the content/changes.

Sure, and it does look a little nicer (Though assets are mostly the same). I think some people were expecting more new content after P3P and FES though.
