Persona 5 protagonist teased in the visuals for upcoming concert

Why are they hiding this game from us?
It was exactly like that for P3 and P4: they only showed them once they could produce full 15 minutes trailers that went over every aspect of the games in a near-finished state. Beats showing incomplete gameplay or bullshots IMHO.

I'm leaking now the Protagonist

Are you from the past!?

Persona 3 was unveiled in Famitsu in March 2006, and was released in July 2006.

Persona 4 was unveiled in Famitsu in March 2008, and was released in July 2008.

Persona 5 will be unveiled in Famitsu in March 2015, and released in July 2015????

Hopefully they can keep that tradition going with P5.

I just had a thought, what if the threat/hook/enemy/social commentary of this game is that people get sucked into a motionless state because of cell phone obsession and that plays into the main story of the game?

Anything coming out in July 2015 that might affect P5 sales?

Heh, well difference being that those first two were both unveiled and revealed through Famitsu, while P5's a special case.

One would hope it wouldn't take a full month to hear about P5 again after its PSL 2015 presence, but who knows.

I really just hope Persona 5 has almost nothing to do with 3 or 4. The spin-offs are great and all, but I want to see something new. If it involves the cast of 3 or 4, I might cry.

Still need to play through P3P just to see what the fuss with the female MC is all about.

She's so perfect, mate.

He looks like someone that missed a haircut appointment because he was too busy listening to Avenged Sevenfold on repeat.

For the record I love Minato

The gap between Persona 2 Batsu and Persona 3 was 6 years. The gap between Persona 4 and Persona 5 will be 7 years. Damn.

Persona 6 for 2023 confirmed.

Gap between Persona 1 and Persona 2 (3 years) was similar to the gap between Persona 3 and Persona 4 (2 years). It was the gap between P2:EP and P3 that was huge (6 years), so the same could potentially extend to Persona 6 after Persona 5.

Persona 5 - 2015
Persona 5: The Search for More Money - 2016
Persona 6 - 2018
Persona 6: Legend of Milking - 2019

Persona 7 - 2027

However in the past they always used the same engine for 2 mainline persona games.

Persona 2 uses a modified version of Persona 1's engine.
And Persona 4 uses a modified version of Persona 3's engine.

If they kept to that pattern, Persona 6 should use the same engine as Persona 5.
Also, since it is a new engine, hopefully they will actually use it for more than one game.

Well, yeah. Their in-house engine is mainly what would enable them to not have to spend six/seven years planning and developing a sequel for newer platforms, and what increases the likelihood of a sequel to P5 sooner than later.

Well they have a new engine running like 2 years after PS4 launch. Im not sure if they deliver 3 mainline Personas this gen if its true that this gen wont last as long as last gen.

Also we probably get more Spinoffs than anything else.
