I would LOVE to get a Persona where the characters are in their 30's or 40's.
I'm more hyped for P4R than P6 at this point though. Would be very strange to get both in 2027.

At least College Age would be a nice change of pace. University could also expand range and types of activities.

No. People's issues is that its another twink. Wouldnt hurt to have more mature looking characters.

The designs look closer to P1/P2, when Soejima's art was more like Kaneko's. While it seems bland that's mostly just the contrast with Joker.

Atlus have been very clear that the Persona games are about high school, and the last one came out nearly a decade ago. It's hardly played out. And as people on the other site are wont to forget, the university experience is different in Japan than it is in other countries. It's basically constant study.

A shame they still don't offer character creation. I was just saying it on the DQ thread, but at this point if you are making an RPG where the protagonist doesn't speak or have a personality because they are just supposed to be an avatar for the player...then just let me create a character!!.

Is a really bitchy passive-aggressive way of trying to dismiss criticism (on top of being untrue). Sounds like you're just too sensitive and can't handle the slightest criticism of a series you like, even when that criticism is coming from fans of the series who will probably buy this on day 1

There can always be time for a change. We just had P3 Remake and are getting P4 Remake so it's not like there is a big freak in high school gameplay.

As far as College Experience for Japanese students that heavily depends on major, University and the student themselves. That contrast would have been interesting to explore.

Going back to high school is just lack of creativity. And considering that the audience is aging it's also a commercial miss, IMO.
