Could be just some side character, since looks like all art etc leaked so far are for anime scenesThat one ^ must be some sort of early concept art, right? That's waaay below their usual standards for what you see in the games
The Sony customer support is already here in this thread, good to see. They are shooting themselves in the foot by releasing this day 1 in Xbox. Atlus should become separate from Sega.
Imagine being interested in Persona 6, seeing an Xbox logo for three seconds and deciding not to buy the gameThey will advertise it for Xbox due to marketing deals instead of advertising it to people who will actually buy it. Lots of Atlus fans won't buy the game due to the Xbox tag.
lol nah. More like dudes in their 30s and 40s who can't admit they want to play a high school life sim, so they hide behind excuses like "that's just the series' identity" and "this is their target demographic"Dudes in their 40s wanting the high school JRPG series to be about adults. Just go play Expedition 33 or whatever games you people worship.
I wouldn't say I want it to be about "adults". To me, 18 to 20 year-olds are still teenagers, but at least they are adults by law and there's none of that borderline impossible dynamic where you gotta live with a grown up, be taken care of by them, and have to respect being back home at x or y hour. It also makes more possible relationships legal.Dudes in their 40s wanting the high school JRPG series to be about adults. Just go play Expedition 33 or whatever games you people worship.
i also really enjoyed world ends with you, but it's a game with it's own identity, &, other than featuring young people, not really all that similar to persona. p5 had some very good aspects, particularly the dungeons, but, especially following the laid-back charm of p4, it just came off as being jarringly 'cool'/flashy/edgy, & felt hollow by comparison. exhibit a:I liked it up til then, but yeah that ending wasn't done so wellsemiconscious . The World Ends With You actually did a pretty similar concept, but waaay better.
Not that they're a major part of these games anyway imo, but the romances are pretty silly and bad, too lol, but they were also like that in 4 too, so whatever. Idunno about the other P3 romances, but Liam O'Brien actually did a really good job with the romance lines he was given in P3P so I guess Persona 3 wins for best story in every area of these three games.![]()
I still think that P5's a good game overall, though. It's really relaxing and nice to play and the art and music are great.
Persona 2 already had main characters that were not in High School. And in P2 Eternal Punishment, the main protagonist is an Adult.Personally I think something like a "Salaryman Persona" would be awesome. Could be some young graduate joining the workforce.
Like Zoom 100 before the zombies:

It would offer a nice change of setting, some new themes they could tackle and it would still work well with the calendar system since you still have to go to work, have deadlines, meetings, office flings, other activities you can do after work or on weekends, etc.
But to be honest I don't think Persona will ever leave High School. The Japanaese audience (and weebs) absolutely adore the Highschool setting and seemingly can't get enough of it. Expecting Persona to leave highschool behind is like expecting The Elder Scrolls to leave medieval fantasy behind. The best we can hope is that someday they make a new franchise or spinoff like Metaphor that changes things up.
Yeah I know.
I'm just saying that I understand why you'd insist on a specific design if your character actually has a personality and dialogue and backstory, etc. I get why FFXVI or Xenoblade go with a specific MC design.
But a game like Persona or Dragon Quest? If the whole point of having a mute main character is for them to serve as a blank slate avatar for the player, then it doesn't make sense to me why you wouldn't let the player create their own character. Maybe back in the day it was more of a technical limitation, but these days that's hardly the case.
I would love to see P2 remake with both parts combined into single game and with combat and QoL improvements.Persona 2 already had main characters that were not in High School. And in P2 Eternal Punishment, the main protagonist is an Adult.
Some of you really need to play both Persona 2 games. Like really, you are missing out on the best story in the series.
Edit: There is an English translated ISO for Eternal Punishment.
Play the originals, theres no chance modern Atlus will remake the games and even less chance they do them justice.I would love to see P2 remake with both parts combined into single game and with combat and QoL improvements.
It's not going to happen because for modern Atlus, Persona started at 3.
Modern Atlus fans like you have no fucking clue.Dudes in their 40s wanting the high school JRPG series to be about adults. Just go play Expedition 33 or whatever games you people worship.
I don't play Fatlus games? lmao.Modern Atlus fans like you have no fucking clue.
